Serves him right. He's made millions from Netflix, book deals and accusing them of being racist. Bit odd he's now coming back.

I still think there should have been Leveson part two.
And disagree that papers lobbied against it and the government went back on their word.
Gavin Burrows claims he was given a bad edit which given what he said on camera, does not tie up, is now living in some unknown place for his own safety and still insists he was paid 75k for opinions only.
I understand Mail journalists felt stressed, some hurt and some angry with reputations on the line. They came out fighting and won - legally, there was no concrete evidence, despite the Mail using Steve Whittamore for another 18 months 2005-7.
But the complainants I think were ill advised and misled. I don't take any glee in them losing. I do understand the legalities now and how it was seen as frivolous.

Saw this story today though and do still believe the press have a lot to learn still. I also think the amount of clickbait and ragebait now is insane, including the inordinate interest in Meghan.
And I do think the amount of press coverage regarding Jason Arday recently was not balanced. I still think we need Hacked Off or an equivalent, and I do believe that the media self-regulating means they haven't always been brought to account.

Apparently the offer of an acting role has been withdrawn. (Thats if it ever existed in the first place.) Better not not say I'm gleeful.

That is a shame for her. She must have been a half decent actress if not a top flight one, and it would be good for her to develop her career there again. However it would be much more difficult for her now - aside from anything else, the film industry is not keen on 40-something women. But she also comes with a lot of baggage, not least an inability to let others lead on publicity.

I mean, I think they do have a bit of making up to do with the British public, after all what he's put his family through, and the things they said about how racist the UK is, but the hatred for Harry and Meghan is visceral on here from some. No matter what Meghan does some people just launch at her. She is LOATHED by some. And for not very much.

Again, what are you gleeful about. Does all this enhance your life. In what way?

I'm not sure what people want now. Harry has taken the court cases. The Oprah interview was years ago and since then, Meghan has worked. Most of the obsessives are desperate for her work not to work out, despite it having no effect on them, and it meaning she's earning her own money instead of sponging off us, like her useless husband wants to do. They could just not watch! She posts stuff on her own Instagram. Just don't follow it. What, really, do you want to happen if all your dreams could come true? Just say it. Divorce? She'll get tons of money from that and two small children will have to spend the next 10 years being ferried across the Atlantic. People were desperate for Harry to be deported from the US. Now they have come back it's outrage! Do you just want Harry back? Doing what? Don't say ' I just want them to go away' because the only thing that will make them ' go away' and live a quiet life is if the press don't publish 1000 stories from every tiny thing they do. The only way they will do that is if the interest dies down, but there are people keeping the whole thing alive by desperately searching for every single utterance of theirs so they can be outraged by it. The threads on here are just ridiculous! How many are there?
