To be a bit gleeful about Harry's court case

Serves him right. He's made millions from Netflix, book deals and accusing them of being racist. Bit odd he's now coming back.

Will the King pay his debts.I hope not. Now the long suffering public will be fleeced for his security costs which will be around £5m a yea r. And they wonder why they are unpopular.

What sort of help did they give her?

They broke through the institutional complacency surrounding Stephen’s murders by publishing the names and pictures of the five people identified as his murderers on their front page and invited them to sue.

Ah, ok.

Why would you be happy at someone else’s misery. That’s so bad.,

In what way? Asking for a friend!

It's all covered in the very long threads regarding the ANL case on the royal family boards.. It was a DM reporter that exposed her sons killers after many years of dogged determination by him. PH allegedly then told DL that said reporter had bugged her, without a shred of evidence, I suspect to get her on board with the case. DL then accused the reporter of racism, despite the fact she had got close to his family over the years. NOTE, his family are mixed race. When it became apparent there was no evidence of wrong doing by the DM she tried to do a deal and allegedly offered to back down if they paid her 650K. The DM said nope, see you in court.

PH et al went to court without a shred of evidence, there was talk of unsigned false witness statements etc. They put those reporters through he'll over a couple of years. I think PH used DL for court sympathy and it backfired spectaculary

Replace the word Harry with Dame Doreen Lawrence. Feel so gleeful now?

As much as Doreen has suffered she still joined the case then tried to get out of it later with a patent.

Surely you know the background here? That’s appalling you don’t know. The Daily Mail were instrumental in getting her son’s killers convicted. No other paper wanted to touch the story but they did and the journalist risked imprisonment himself by naming the suspects and they were relentless in their pursuit of them. Were it not for the Mail none of the killers would have faced justice.

FreddysFingers · 22/08/2026 19:10

Completely agree. Maligned the Royal Family and wrote that tacky book. He's in trouble in the states as they're now looking into his visa application which he lied on. Sorry but you reap what you sow.

That’s when people like you use an insult when they’ve run out of road.

If I let you have the last word, do you promise to give it a rest?

If you stop insulting people and admit telling someone they need help is a bit pathetic I’ll consider it. But I won’t stop stop

If he doesn't want publicity, why get his publicist to place the stories about their return in the papers? Surely not to generate a bit of a frenzy to justify us picking up his multi million pound annual security bill.

Fucking balding, grifting, morally superior, bell end.

Well said 👏👏👏

HereWeGo1234 · 22/08/2026 19:45

My main concern is that I (and all the other taxpayers in the UK) will be funding their security arrangements.

I honestly cannot see him getting state funded security.
Sadly I fear the King is going to be guilt tripped into paying, though why he should when the Markle's have gone through tens of millions with their ridiculous lifestyle.

It is his Son, and he is not short of a bob, or two. I thought that he is still Harry, Henry,Mountbatten-Windsor, or did he tell you that he has changed his name?

Harry is 40 years old. Maybe it’s time he stood on his own two feet like he wanted to.

Have you got access to their bank accounts? Otherwise how do you know this?

Also, should I be calling Kate... Middleton? After all, you call Meghan... Markle?

Exactly!

adragoncalledaudrey · 22/08/2026 21:22

Well, technically it should be Catherine.

And Rachel.

If we are being that picky.

Well it seems that a lot of the Sussex’s supporters all work in their finance department with their declarations that they aren’t broke. But moving back to a country which Harry said not that long ago was too dangerous to bring his wife and children to which also happens to coincide with the court rulings of the disastrous court case, is odd to say the least.

Jc2001 · 22/08/2026 21:44

VestibuleWeaver · 21/08/2026 15:36

You’re siding with the Daily Mail against him, and others?

Whether you like the daily mail or not, there was insufficient evidence to prove any of Harry (or the others) accusations.

I don't work in finance and I am not the one making a statement saying they are broke. Or they have gone through tens of millions
I have no idea

Livelovebehappy · 22/08/2026 21:55

I’m not gleeful, but I think his decision to sue was a bad one, and he manipulated others to follow with him, who saw pound signs and followed on blindly. They lost. So obviously no evidence whatsoever to find the DM guilty of anything. I honestly wish that Harry and Meghan weren’t returning, but judging by his recent statement that he would never bring Meghan and his children to the UK due to security issues, and I think that surely they possess enough self awareness to see how despised they are here, I’m assuming that there’s probably something at play that we’re not aware of. Maybe concerning the health of King Charles?

The Daily Mail have consistently tried to destroy Meghan and Harry and continue to now ! I wish he’d won the case and welcome them home . Let the hate stop now, he dared to marry a mixed race woman and live in the USA and live an independent life , good for them .

Seriously, stop spouting the same old, same old about people here not liking the fact that Harry married someone of mixed race. It really was never that deep. Many people, including myself, thought she was a breath of fresh air when she married into the RF. and even when they said they wanted to leave the UK to live a private life in the US, most people understood that need. But when they started selling details of the RF in the knowledge that the RF couldn’t respond, so they had a captive audience, then the tide turned. Don’t say you’re leaving for privacy if all along your intention was to sell the RF down the river to the highest bidder.

LalaPaloosa2024 · 22/08/2026 23:00

I’m with you. Why anyone is defending this ungrateful, spoilt, entitled brat is beyond me. Wasting the court’s time like that. I’m glad he has to pay and I wish he’d stayed in the US. Clearly no one wants him and his wife there either.
