To think that Harry and Megan's return to the UK has everything to do with money running out?

That really. I mean it's not like they are loved here whether it comes to family or the public. I think Harry might genuinly want to live in England whereas his wife is looking for the attention and money.

The meritless claim against ANL - and the connected parties involved.

I don't think that is going to be particularly interesting to people in New Zealand.

You don't need to be young to know who they are. They are both actresses in their late 30s. One has an Oscar and the other is Phil Collins's daughter.

Ahaa - thanks for that !

I've never heard of them. Looking at Google I don't think I've ever heard of their films but a couple of television things ring a bell. I'm not sure why I'd be expected to know who Phil Collins children are.

Oh and Harry's book is so much nicer than Thomas Markle disparaging his daughter in the press, not to mention the accusations they've made in interviews? Okay then ........

And ?What is it to you
There maybe many reasons why Meghan doesnt want to see her Dad none of which hss anything to do with you
Its really odd you are offended on behalf of Meghans Dad .

Please explain what that is.

Meritless claim, connected parties. The FCA is looking at the insurers. No legitimate insurance company would have underwritten it.

Well the FCA is in contact with me about the shareholders so maybe it can see what you can’t.

Why would anyone care what Piers Morgan thinks? How bizarre.

Piers Morgan has always had a massive chip on his shoulder about MM since she made it clear that she wasn't that interested in him fawning over her and didn't regard him as some super-guru whose advice she should always follow.

I suspect that GF is trying to be cryptic about is that the legal case involves much more than Harry - there are a number of high profile parties including Elton John, Doreen Lawrence et al. Possibly issues are arising around liability for costs because third party funders weren't made aware of weaknesses in the case.

To be fair to him - which almost makes me gag - I think she was quite happy to have a drink with him and hang around with Lizzie Cundy to up her profile.
However once she became official with Harry I am sure she was informed to drop them all.
Which Morgan reacted to. How his beautiful and talented wife puts up with him…..

And the citizens of New Zealand should be talking about this?

How wonderful to have this thread then to show the UK isn’t the racist nasty place a lot of people think it is…

Some of us are capable of seeing past a person's skin colour and judging them on their character alone.
A dislike of Meghan Markle, based largely on Meghan Markle's own words, is not racism.

LucilleRogers · Yesterday 10:20

I don’t give the royal family much thought or credit but I do think Harry was the one who could have done something really positive. Things like his involvement with the Invictus games, I think he could have done some good. I hope when he comes home he still might. I’m don’t think MM will last long here though, she’ll be back to America, give it 2 years max.

simpsonthecat · Yesterday 10:24

Is 'give it 2 years max' the same as 'I'll give it a year' when they got engaged? Heard a lot of that!

Asking for a friend 🤣🤣

It must really piss some posters off that they are still together
They just cant bear the thought they might just be happy.

It is actually. I read it.

I dare say it’s partly money, and partly because they are aware that the US is sick of them. And perhaps Harry would like to try to mend relationships with his own family. And possibly he’s a bit homesick.

It amazes me, the way people discuss famous people they don’t know at all on here. Pure fantasy. Occasionally someone will dish up a friend of a friend’s cousin, who is apparently well informed, or similar.

Yes, they sound utterly unhinged.

When I watched the news last night they showed a few people being interviewed about Meghan and Harry’s return and some of the comments made me cringe.
To think that anybody feels entitled enough to say they don’t want them to come back because they don’t like Meghan blows my mind.

The media is definitely at fault as well though. For giving people like that the illusion that their opinion matters.

I and others are keen to look beyond our own backyards and keep an eye on what’s happening in (for example) New Zealand and the rest of the world.

Each to their own of course 😊

TaraRhu · Yesterday 11:08

I think the king has limited time left.

If there’s any chance of security being funded with taxpayers money then I think we automatically get an opinion. It’s no different than when people disapprove of other things such as foreign aid.

Yes, except for those Republicans who will support Trump no matter what.
Perhaps I should have said that most of the US is no longer remotely interested in H&M, and their whining, and expectations of attention and publicity.

People also have very short memories
King Charles was very unpopular for a while i was watching a Documentary from the late 90s when he celebrated his 50th birthday
Camilla wasent allowed to attend
And the public who were asked said she would never be accepted as a Queen
Yet here we are.
