To think that Harry and Megan's return to the UK has everything to do with money running out?

That really. I mean it's not like they are loved here whether it comes to family or the public. I think Harry might genuinly want to live in England whereas his wife is looking for the attention and money.

Why would they rush to Thomas Markle’s side? They are no contact given his tendency to disparage his daughter in the press. If he was my dad I would have no contact with him either.

Harry still has a relationship with his dad so it’s rather different.

Edited

Oh and Harry's book is so much nicer than Thomas Markle disparaging his daughter in the press, not to mention the accusations they've made in interviews? Okay then ........

I'm Australian and multiple news sites were running breaking news stories and live updates this morning. It would seem to be huge news around the world. It's certainly not a new concept that people are interested in the lives of major celebrities, especially when they're controversial.

Really? I'm in NZ and have seen a couple of brief mentions in the media before they moved onto something more important. In fact I heard about it on MN before hearing about it here. No-one really seems very interested, I certainly haven't heard anyone mention it.

Me thinks they be after freebies, and they may stay here through term time and go back in hols. Harry starts the part time royal role and gets his security Et Voilà

Seriously, you are saying no one has noticed that Harry and Meghan announce their move back to the UK the same week that the costs order is announced?!

I imagine that there are many parts of the world where people are not particularly interested in Harry and Meghan.

I always find it fascinating when people act as if they know them.

And feel like they have the right to judge.

It amazes me, the way people discuss famous people they don’t know at all on here. Pure fantasy. Occasionally someone will dish up a friend of a friend’s cousin, who is apparently well informed, or similar.

Stormyrose · Yesterday 08:46

No it’s nothing to do with money, many people don’t realise, money makes money, they likely get about 10 percent on their investments, so will make at least 5 million a year in passive income.

its everything to do with opportunities running out,

Most people dont take an obssessive interest in them.

looselegs · Yesterday 09:04

Oh leave them alone!
It won't have any affect on anyone's life but their own.
I've got better things to think about...

Piers Morgan predicted that Meghan Markle would destroy Prince Harry’s ties to the British monarchy, warning from as early as 2020 that their independent commercial path marked the "beginning of the end" for the institution. Looks back it looks like his prediction was true. Hopefully, things will get better.

Why would anyone care what Piers Morgan thinks? How bizarre.

I can’t stand him but he has a lot of subscribers on YouTube where people watch his regular rants which appear now to mostly about the U.S. or discussions with or about people like Andrew Tate.
I know he made a huge error back in the day at the Mirror but before that I did admire someone his age - similar to mine - could become an editor.
Never forget he couldn’t even get arrested here for a good few years.
His career only got a lift as a talent judge for Simon Cowell.

lots of actors out there far more famous/better but they live their lives.

I've seen in the Sun that she (MM) has a "cameo part" in a new film called "Close Personal Friends" starring Lily Collins and Brie Larson.

This story is much more bigger than just Harry and Meghan

PetulaGordeno · Yesterday 09:35

@GwendolineFairfax8 I am intrigued in what way? No hint of sarcasm I am genuinely interested.
My take is that H&M being here and being active here works directly against the Royal Family.
The are outside The Firm and can do as they like.
I think there is less interest in the RF as an entity it is more of a soap opera in so many ways.
This move is like a soap opera return.
I can understand the King want to reconnect.
I think William perhaps will see the wider picture.

Theere’s a pressure on authorities to release Prince Harry’s visa application to verify if he lied about his drug use on the form and whether he lied or not, because of he mentioned his drug use in his book spare, there’s a pressure to deport him. Court cases have been filed to get his application released in public. Or maybe Charles is not well, and Harry wants to spend time with father.

Maybe it's just a whole bunch of things that when they balanced the fors and against it came out as UK.

Probably because I'm old but who are Lily Collins and Brie Larson. Actually I'll go and Google them.

I hope that Harry and his family will settle well back in the UK and be happy.

You don't need to be young to know who they are. They are both actresses in their late 30s. One has an Oscar and the other is Phil Collins's daughter.
