AIBU to think if we need to politely ask men not to rape women (or men), then we don't want such people in the UK?

Don't rape, sexually assault or make kissing noises' at people, asylum seekers warned in guidance about living in UK
UK arrivals have been told to treat women equally, not sexually assault partners or have sex with children in a new Home Office pamphlet. As well as the guidebook, a series of posters have also been designed by the government.

I certainly think it's better to be in the west.

And that while we have VAWG here, things there are so much worse and we don't want those men in here.

Yes, absolutely 💯

So you didn’t read my post 🙄

What a ludicrous response. What exactly are you claiming I didn’t read?

You provided some anecdata about specific cases. That shows us absolutely nothing about the overall risk level per capita by culture, ethnicity or country of origin, which is what people are concerned about: the evidenced fact that men from certain cultures clearly pose far higher risks to women and children than others.

You have tried desperately to provide examples of British men being abusive to women from other cultures as if that negates the above. It doesn’t. Nobody has claimed that doesn’t happen, or that British men or white men or whatever don’t commit these crimes.

What people are trying to tell you is that, per the data, it is clear that men from particular cultures pose far, far higher risks on average than others and, therefore, people already living in the UK are uncomfortable with having increased risks to the women and children who live here imposed on them by a) the proportion of adult men to women and children overall being increased continually - particularly given that we know worldwide large populations of young men away from their families have higher offending rates; and b) that this is particularly unacceptable given that the influx of men is from cultures where the risk profile to women and children is several times higher than from the men who already live in the UK.

Do you actually have anything to say about these facts and why you seem to think that women and children here should just suck up this unnecessary elevated level of risk and that those who are raped/ abused/ intimidated/ murdered as a result should be considered collateral damage for your “cause” of trying to pretend cultural differences have no impact on our safety?

@nomas - are you in disagreement that a feature of rapes by migrant men is that they attack in packs? ( You will probably cite the (white) boys in Fordingbridge, but this was a particular case and unusual.)

This is why many women are afraid - when you see a bunch of men in a playpark or hanging around, it’s uncomfortable at best, intimidating or extremely threatening at worst.

Incidentally I have been attending football matches for decades - sometimes on my own. Me and thousands of men. Never once ever have I felt uncomfortable.

are you in disagreement that a feature of rapes by migrant men is that they attack in packs?

The majority of group based rape is by white men. Like these Hartlepool group of men who have just been released, they abducted a 13yo and took turns to rape her and treated her like an object.

Rape is unacceptable regardless of the perpetrator’s race.

No one wants uncontrolled migration.

No wants any woman to be raped.

But you can’t white wash rape as a racialised crime, we see through you.

SomethingHasGotToBeDoneAboutYourKids · 23/08/2026 17:32

@nomas here is the data from the MOJ again, regarding rape prosecutions/ convictions by ethnicity, then adjusted per capita so that you can clearly see the difference in offending rates. And that is with the vast majority of the men in this data being British nationals/ long-term residents - the very statistically significant differences are still obvious. It’s absurd to deny that culture has an impact.

I ask again, why do you think the MOJ is making an appeal on utterly spurious legal grounds to try to withhold the data split by nationality, where the differences in offending rates will doubtless be even more stark?

So at least 80% rapists convicted rapists are white. Which ethnicity do you want me to look at?

Again, which of those ethnicities do you want me to look at? Which ones shows a per capita disproportionality?

I often hear Reform using Afghan men as an example. There were 22 Afghan men convicted of sexual assault last year. That’s often given as a per capita example but 22 is too small number to write off an entire nation of men as rapists.

Compare that to the 100,000+ white men reported to the police for sexual assault last year.

So at least 80% rapists convicted rapists are white. Which ethnicity do you want me to look at?

Do you really not understand that the highest NUMBER of crimes in this country will be committed by white men because the majority of the population is white?

Surely you cannot genuinely not understand basic maths to this degree?

That is why, in the spreadsheet provided to you above, the prevalence of rape cases is split PER CAPITA to show the statistical likelihood of people from different ethnicities committing rape. The differences in likelihood are very significant, which can only be attributed to culture, for there to be this level of statistical significance.

It isn’t “racism”, because as stated already if you actually look at the data certain non-white ethnicities have LOWER offending rates than the average.

Some others have much, much HIGHER rates, to a degree where men from these cultural backgrounds clearly pose an unacceptably high level of risk to women on average and the very last thing we’d want to do as a country is import more of them into our communities as it will inevitably mean that the risk of rape and abuse to women and children rises.

The issue here is clearly CULTURE, as has been explained several times. That is the only factor that would explain such extreme trends in the data given that the vast majority of those within the population will be British nationals/ long-term residents, and it is no surprise that the ethnicities which have these extremely elevated offending rates tend to be those who are less integrated into our society (often by choice) and/ or have cultural values which denegrate women and do not treat them as equals.

Therefore, on what basis do you assume that adding more men from such cultures to our society - who will have even higher offending rates than those of these riskier cultures/ backgrounds who have actually grown up here and at least understand our social norms and laws even if they dislike them - will not change the level of risk to women and children going about their own lives in our society? Or, if you do accept that it will result in far elevated risks to innocent women and children living in the UK, why do you think this is acceptable?

You have continually tried to imply that it is unfounded and “racist” for people to be concerned about the elevated risks to women and children posed by men from misogynistic cultural backgrounds coming to live in the UK. What basis do you have for this pretence given that it directly contradicts the data?

I think Tony Blair admitting he let in too many Eastern Europeans shows governments can get it wrong.
