Don't rape, sexually assault or make kissing noises' at people, asylum seekers warned in guidance about living in UK
UK arrivals have been told to treat women equally, not sexually assault partners or have sex with children in a new Home Office pamphlet. As well as the guidebook, a series of posters have also been designed by the government.

No chance. Bit like Egypt and Jordan not taking in their neighbours.

They do though. Jordan has about 1 mil Syrian refugees + couple of million others. Schools are running 2 shifts to teach all the students. Egypt has about 1mil of refugees too. Iirc mainly Sudanese.

Whilst its always men - there's no doubt men from certain countries, are worse - much worse. Not because of their colour (SIGH eye roll), but because of the culture and morality they've grown up in. So we do not need them in this country. And it is not racist to say so.

Once again you explain it perfectly

It wasn't those refugees poster was referring too. It was there joint neighbours that are the issue for them.

These comments are just silly.

We all know that British men also commit rape.

We also know that having more single men around, many of whom are very bored or traumatised, will add to the number of attacks simply because there are more men here. And it’s well documented the world over anyway that, culture aside, large numbers of young men away from their families do generally increase crime rates across the board, so why would we want to do that? The safety of our own citizens is the most fundamental duty of Government and the purpose of a nation state.

And then on top of this we know, from the MOJ data posted earlier, that the prosecution and conviction rates per capita vary significantly by ethnicity, so there is clearly a cultural element to these crimes.

As I pointed out earlier, we don’t have the full picture of just how wide the gap is based on culture because we’d need to cross-section that ethnicity data with the data by nationality, which the MOJ is refusing a legal order to release. One has to question what motivation they have for that, given the grounds for their appeal against the ICO’s decision seem spurious (to put it politely).

It’s just silly to say “but British men do it too!” when it’s clear even from the data we do already have that there are significant variances by ethnicity (when obviously men born in Britain - who will make up the majority of these statistics obviously just because there are more of them here! - have various ethnicities, hence it being clear from this data that there’s a cultural element to offending rates even amongst those who are British nationals).

It’s absurd to demand that we ignore the evident fact that some men pose a significantly higher risk to women and children than others and that culture has a significant impact on this. It would be ludicrous to pretend that it doesn’t when the data is clear, and that obviously for those who have moved here from a country where they were raised exclusively in a misogynistic culture where women are treated as sub-humans and inferior the variance in offending rates caused by these cultural differences is going to be far wider than it is between those who were born in Britain, raised within our society with our legal and societal norms but amongst whom we already can see a large mathematical variance in risk which can only be explained by cultural differences, i.e. that some, despite being raised here, live in culturally isolated self-segregating communities within the UK and have misogynistic values taught to them and reinforced by friends and family.

The patterns even based on the limited ethnicity data (i.e. most of the data relating to British citizens/ long-term residents) are statistically significant so there’s little point continually trying to pretend this isn’t the case to shut down the discussion, and no rational argument I’ve seen to think the variance in offending rates due to cultural differences would be lower when it comes to people moving here from completely alien cultures who view women as property or objects. It’s disingenuous of you to try to shut down discussion with whataboutery when you’ve put forward no argument for why you think these men would pose a lower risk than those raised here in our society with our laws. And if you do genuinely believe this, then presumably you’ll be campaigning for the MOJ to release the data of crime rates by nationality of perpetrator, to prove you are correct?

Women and children deserve to be protected so we need to be able to discuss facts no matter how unpalatable you might find them otherwise more unnecessary and avoidable tragedies will be inevitable.

I will say I fluctuate on the pamphlet thing. It seems instinctively wrong to have anybody here that needs this kind of thing.

But them companies have similar training / guidance around sexual harassment and the British army had a similar set of pamphlets about not raping and I don’t have an issue with either of those so.

Hmm…

Exactly.

The issue here isn’t race, it is accepting people with an incompatible and alien culture whose presence demonstrably poses a significantly increased risk to our existing population.

Why should we be expected to tolerate that?

Yes, the fact that our government are so reluctant to release crime stats broken down by nationality tells us everything we need to know.

We don’t have a choice but to deal with the offenders who are British citizens already, as every country has to deal with the problems that its own culture has created.

The question is why we should accept even more people who have a higher risk profile on average than those already here and make the problem worse for ourselves.

The security of our existing population has to be prioritised: this is the fundamental duty of a nation state.

We can be compassionate by instead helping those actually at far higher risk: the women and children from these countries who are being mistreated by their appalling, misogynistic cultures in which the men coming here have participated. The women and children don’t pose anything like that same level of risk to our population and are far more likely to integrate effectively into our communities. This way, we would help those most in need AND protect our existing population from unacceptable risks of harm. And also the children would have an opportunity to grow up with a different set of values and actually contribute to our society in the future.

My best friend at primary school was a boy who was a refugee from Kuwait. He moved here with his mother when he was 3. He has become a wonderful and respectful, kind, generous and gentle man. He would be the first to say his outlook on life would be very different had he remaining in a war zone in a completely different culture to ours, until he was an adult. Aside from the trauma he would never have been allowed to socialise with me (female, white) or have female friends at all, he would have been raised in a very different way with different values, so he would be a completely different person.

The grooming gangs didn't take much notice did they? Oh that's because they were 'white trash' aka vulnerable poor white girls. So they are free to do this to anyone they're not married to?

Yes, I think it's western women who are at risk from all these young men coming over. Because in the west these men will be free from their family structures, they see women who are unchaperoned and dressed immodestly (in their eyes), they have access to alcohol and a steady supply of porn available on their phones.

In what world would this all turn out OK?

nomas · 23/08/2026 14:30

Did you even read my post? Or even just my first sentence?

I read it all. It was whataboutery and I’be responded to it in full. I am talking about statistically significant differences in offending rates per the data.

The MOJ data was posted by a PP earlier in the thread and I performed an analysis of it per capita to make it representative.

It demonstrates very clearly that based on just ethnicity there are very significant variances in prosecutions and convictions for rape per capita by ethnicity, even though the vast majority of the data obviously will be British citizens or long-term residents of various ethnicities.

It’s also not possible to claim that this is because of racism in policing/ juries because there isn’t a significant difference between the rates of prosecutions and convictions in each category, and some of the ethnicities have a LOWER prosecution/ conviction rate per capita that white British men.

This data demonstrates that men from certain ethnicities pose a lower risk to women than white British men, but that the risk from men of some other specific ethnicities is far, far higher than from white British men. Ergo, the only explanation for this is cultural differences regarding the values these men are taught within their communities. It is no surprise that even though the vast majority of those in the overall data will of course be British citizens or long-term residents, these huge difference in risk profile and offending rates by ethnicity (sometimes many times as much) are far more prominent within communities which a) tend to isolate themselves from the rest of British society in enclaves where they are taught values and culture which do not align with the laws and values of the general population of the UK; and b) those cultures happen to have misogynistic views of women where they are not treated as equals.

Then we have the MOJ withholding what would be the more informative data, showing the statistics for violent and sexual crimes by nationality, rather than ethnicity. Given what the ethnicity data demonstrates already, it is obvious that there is likely to be an even larger gap between the offending rates between those who are British nationals (which will include those from the ethnic groups with higher offending rates who were born here or have naturalised so are British citizens) and those who have come here from other countries where they have never experienced life where women are treated equally by law and find this a totally alien concept.

You have made no response to this data.

What reason do you have for your attempted implication that those coming here from such countries (where misogynistic oppression of women is the norm, women are treated as property and sexual violence, harassment, rape, and child abuse goes unpunished or in some cases is legal) would have a similar or lower offending rate than those raised in the UK, where everyone knows it is illegal to rape or control women or discriminate against them in any way (whether they like these laws or not, they have grown up knowing about them and that they must comply with them)?

If you do genuinely believe that the MOJ data on the number of prosecuted/ convicted rapes by ethnicity is incorrect then surely you’ve made complaints to your MP about them publishing allegedly false data - have you? And if you really think that the risk profiles of all men are the same because allegedly culture has no impact on this, then are you campaigning for the MOJ to comply with the ICO data and release the data of offending by nationality? Presumably you would think this would support your viewpoint if you believe what you’re saying, so you would desperately want the data to be released? Why do you think they’re trying to stop it being published with spurious and ridiculous excuses?

Or, are you just trying to make disingenuous false equivalences and ignore the statistical data to shut down the discussion, so effectively you view women and children as acceptable collateral damage and that the increased risk of abuse/ rape/ murder to us all is - in your view - an acceptable price to pay to maintain your position that all cultures are equal and anybody who looks at the data proving it impacts the risks is racist?

Again: it’s not people’s race anybody cares about. It is the risks to women and specific men from specific countries post higher risks to our population, as the data shows. You don’t appear to have an answer to that. If you do, I’d like to hear it. Otherwise, it appears you are simply trying to shut down the discussion because you find the statistical, evidenced facts uncomfortable, and are prepared to put us and our children at risk just to protect your sensibilities.

Probably going to get linched for telling you this but going on my own experience in a lot of cases it doesn't matter if the family are other here. If what is being taught at home in some houses is girls outside your ideology once in secondary school are all lose moralled and probably having sex etc

Similarly if white British blokes or teenagers are raised in a household that is abusive or sexist they are more likely to have certain attitudes towards women themselves.
