Count Binface has been out bigging-up Clacton and drawing attention to its potential.

It’s a really positive campaign.

I don’t think he’ll win but I’d love it if he did. I think he’d be brilliant.

And if he doesn’t, I think other candidates could learn a lot from his approach.

I’m sure there’s nothing in him not turning up because he doesn’t want to have to publicly face winning against a bin 🗑️ 😂

His win just wasn’t a win really. He defeated a bin and now has an investigation reopened.

I do wonder about the people that voted for Farage though… it just makes no sense.

Looks like Farage is avoiding the media this morning.

He should be congratulating Binface and thanking his supporters.

The only laughing stock is the 87 per cent of you who seriously thought the comedy candidate would win. You even thought a Punch and Judy show arguing the toss about the cost of ice cream was a good idea. What happened to the grown ups being back in charge? Oh well, at least Farage had to spend a few hours in his constituency. And at least Parliament with its icky rules means there is some kind of guardrail around him.

The banter outcome would be Jon Harvey deciding to stand as a candidate elsewhere in the future. I got the feeling he was quite enjoying the idea of making a difference.

Farage’s plan totally backfired.

He was too humiliated to show up

And he has lied about the reason for doing so

The good people of Clacton knew a stitch-up when they saw it and stuck 2 fingers up to the establishment. (Who were too scared a field any candidates)

So now the bin can put his costume away until the General Election, which I predict will be sooner than later.🙂

There are some crazy people out there who kill MPs. You think it's a laughing matter after Ann's brutal murder. How do you know what threat he faces on a daily basis. Without Binface in the race I’m pretty sure the turnout would have been much, much lower.

A Pyrrhic victory.

I do t think anyone actually thought Binface would win the actual election.

But there has been a loss for Farage.

He called this by election to avoid an investigation into his financial affairs - costing the tax payers £350k - and has only re triggered that investigation.

He’s so humiliated by his own doing he has lied about why he hasn’t attended the count and announcement. Even he doesn’t feel he’s won.

Farage will have lost face on the international stage, too.
