Has anyone else been banned from Amazon?

I live abroad and very often packages don’t get delivered (it’s the main gripe on the neighbourhood Whatsapp, with neighbours posting if anyone has their package)
Ive contacted Amazon each time and they’ve issued refunds-parcels never turned up.
I received an email last week saying that i’m not allowed to make purchases anymore as there has been over the maximum amount of refunds. and this matter has been dealt with, each time ive tried messaging, the same reply comes back.

It’s very frustrating as is not my fault

I’m just worried about Christmas as it’s difficult to find the toys here for my Dd

Has anyone ever had this?

Flipping eck - you'd think they'd give you a warning first! Sorry OP. Surely it's not a ban for life?! ....and why would it be your fault if you needed a refund? I don't get it...

Win for you then as they have banned you.
If I had a problem with parcels not being delivered I would have had tried other methods of collection as has already been suggested more than once.
Have your neighbours been banned? You have been asked before but didn't answer.

They do warn and yes its for life.

You have plenty of time before Christmas

If you or your DH work you could have an account using his card sent to a work address/delivery box nearby.

Or just plan for Christmas early! Make a list now and do some shopping whenever you are in a big town/near a good toy shop.

Do you have the option to have parcels delivered to a collection point, for example I have a local shop that takes them & then customers can collect from there it could save any parcels going to the useless couriers & just go via the mail service to the pick up point!

Still unfair though....

You could get an online bank account which is easy to set up, or link Amazon to a credit card?

We don't really know how unfair it is in the OP's case, as she's very reluctant to answer questions.

Then you'll just have to order from retailers other than Amazon. They do exist.

They don’t do photos of proof etc, tracking shows has been sent out but it often stops there

Don’t think they’ve been banned…yet, but many complaints of things not being delivered from various neighbours. I was wondering if they would look at a letter/email with list of the same delivery issues in our neighbourhood

Which questions am I reluctant to answer?! Just come back on, have been at work all day. It’s very unfair as isn’t my fault, numerous issues with delivery in our area, similar with Ubereats, many neighbours the same. I have spent a lot of money over the years on toys and books etc for my Dc. I’ve had an account for a very long time with no issues and have been a good customer for them, it’s completely wrong that they don’t investigate the delivery companies

Why is this rubbish?! I’m not in the uk, we don’t simply have hundreds of choices of online companies to come to us.

It’s not always delivery companies. It’s also customs of its entering your country. I bought an item for my instant pot and it got lost in transit in customs.

They do investigate delivery companys.

my bf has been banned from amazon for buying too many dildos… the thing is, we live together and i can’t find any dildos!

So the tracking says "out for delivery" on the day you're expecting a parcel but then nothing else happens? Do you get a notification later that day to say that the item has been delivered, so that you know that it's been delivered somewhere and can hopefully hunt it down?

All of the questions posters have been asking you since you first started the thread! Some of the questions were asked a number of times, such as - why you haven't arranged delivery to a secure location before now and are you planning to do that now?

Not around my area they aren't. I've had three drivers attempt to steal parcels that they were delivering to me over the last two years.

I have CCTV at the front of the house and so can see what is happening while I work from home.

On each occasion, the driver left the parcel by the door took a photo and then picked up the parcel and started to leave with it.

I dashed out of the house and ran after them. On two occasions they gave me the parcel but once I had to literally fight them (there were two of them together) to get my parcel back.

I note that none of these drivers were driving Amazon liveried vans, but just ordinary white vans. It maybe that Amazon are subcontracting the deliveries now and it looks like they'll take anyone on.

Amazon is a teeerrible company. I am going to get myself banned.
