Has anyone else been banned from Amazon?

I live abroad and very often packages don’t get delivered (it’s the main gripe on the neighbourhood Whatsapp, with neighbours posting if anyone has their package)
Ive contacted Amazon each time and they’ve issued refunds-parcels never turned up.
I received an email last week saying that i’m not allowed to make purchases anymore as there has been over the maximum amount of refunds. and this matter has been dealt with, each time ive tried messaging, the same reply comes back.

It’s very frustrating as is not my fault

I’m just worried about Christmas as it’s difficult to find the toys here for my Dd

Has anyone ever had this?

I have never had a parcel go missing, whether it's Amazon, Evri or DPD or RM.

But if it happened often, I would just get parcels delivered to a locker. Was that not an option?

I think you became a liability to Amazon and they had to drop your custom.

CalmDownAndChill · 29/07/2026 13:58

I can understand it from their point of view. As a PP mentioned is they a reason you can’t get it deliver somewhere safe like an Amazon drop box or parcel shop.
I don’t know but I doubt you will be able to use the same card, name or address. It’s very frustrating.

So basically just set up a new account with a different name and email but use the same card & address? Worried they’d check that

What if they do? The worst they can do is ban that account as well, and youre no worse off than you are now.

You can use the sane name or shorten it. Once you add the card you’ll get a text to verify that you want to add the card, once you click yes. That’s it. Set the address to the local
parcel hub.

If it did have my address would they not allow?

If none of your parcels arrive and you keep having to ask for refunds why would you use amazon for Christmas anyway?

Surely you will find out when you try? It’s not like it costs you anything to set up a new account, just get on with it and see what happens.

Yes I was worried about them knowing and me definitely never having a chance at getting my account back, but they aren’t allowing any feedback from me anyway

Tableforjoan · 29/07/2026 14:09

I’d set up a new account but have them use a drop of place.

Or do you have a relative near by whose address you could use?

Why would you want to set up a new Amazon account using the same address, if parcels keep going missing on you? That doesn't make sense.
If you're going to set up a new account, use a safe address where delivery will be guaranteed and you can collect the parcels from there.

Have you spoken to your neighbours, have they also been banned since you said their parcels are going missing too?

AutisticMumOf2 · 29/07/2026 14:15

Yes, I was banned for the same thing despite having the driver on cctv pretending to deliver & then walking off with said parcel. Amazon refused to even look at it.
Just made one in my husband’s name instead and only have them delivered when we know we’ll be home and can stand by the door when there around the corner. Luckily they changed the driver on our route to a non-theiving bastard.

Ethelspagetti · 29/07/2026 14:17

Interesting you say this as last week I was sent a warning for too many returns. Not my fault as many things were faulty or I’d returned one as two were ordered to try on, or not dispatched as they’d ran out! I’ve notice that the quality is bad for lots of things now. I’m not banned but my account is under review! I’m now trying not to order things that aren’t named brands due to the quality!

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 29/07/2026 14:20

Can you use an Amazon Pickup Point?

Instead of having a package delivered to your home, you can select a pickup point location. There, you can pick up your package at a time that suits you.

It’s so unfair though when it’s their fault or the delivery drivers! It should at least be investigated or I should be able to explain the situation

Do they still let you watch prime video/ music etc?

ForeverNowWithin · 29/07/2026 14:30

I've not heard of this before but I am not surprised. I imagine some people really do take the piss.

It's clearly not your fault that they are unable to get a reliable delivery service going in your specific area, but I guess they've had to make the call that regardless of the reason or whose fault it is, it's costing them too much time and money to keep trying. It sucks for you, but makes sense for them.

It's not about fault. They're making a loss on your account. You can try the workarounds people suggest here and if it works then use a drop off point.

Floatlikeafeather2 · 29/07/2026 14:41

Where do you live that Amazon is your only option to buy toys? There are loads of online toy companies and there are loads of other companies that sell toys as well as other things. But that won't be a solution if your problem is with the courier/postal service. They're the people you should be dealing with, not Amazon who, in this case, are behaving as any business would.
Do you have a record of what hasn't been delivered and when? It would be a good start to open a conversation with them.

Has anyone ever had this?

I ordered new phone and phone sleeve from Amazon. Both despatched the same day, in same box, however, when I opened it - only phone sleeve inside. They did investigate and found out that phone was never in the package (they weighting parcels), someone stole it while packaging parcels. Received refund.
Two weeks later I bought lots of gifts for Christmas and ordered 5 identical scarfs, but received only 3. It took me 2 months to get refund, I was called a liar and almost banned too.
I don't use Amazon again.

Twiglets1 · 29/07/2026 14:52

No I haven’t but I only once complained that something wasn’t delivered. Later I found it was delivered but placed in a weird hiding place. Normally their delivery people just leave the items by the front door if we’re out.

They are a business and if too many things have to be delivered twice or refunded, you’re no longer the sort of customer they want.

MarthaLovesLaughing · 29/07/2026 14:53

It happened to my cousin (UK). She'd sent loads of stuff back and also said stuff wasn't delivered and got refunds

Amazon cut her off but somehow she got reinstated. No idea how. She's way more careful now 🙄

DeftGoldHedgehog · 29/07/2026 14:53

I've been a customer of Amazon since 1999, spend hundreds of pounds a year and the only delivery issue I've had was when a load of paper towels were sent instead of my item. That was sorted very quickly. If deliveries aren't getting to you, you need to have them sent to a locker or elsewhere for collection instead.

trueredstart · 29/07/2026 15:04

The company I used to work for would blacklist entire postcodes (usually student halls) because too many complained that their orders hadn't been delivered.

Do you have any delivery info, like photos or maps of where these parcels have been delivered to? Contact customer services and ask for your case to be escalated.
