Has anyone else been banned from Amazon?

I live abroad and very often packages don’t get delivered (it’s the main gripe on the neighbourhood Whatsapp, with neighbours posting if anyone has their package)
Ive contacted Amazon each time and they’ve issued refunds-parcels never turned up.
I received an email last week saying that i’m not allowed to make purchases anymore as there has been over the maximum amount of refunds. and this matter has been dealt with, each time ive tried messaging, the same reply comes back.

It’s very frustrating as is not my fault

I’m just worried about Christmas as it’s difficult to find the toys here for my Dd

Has anyone ever had this?

I'd have them delivered to a pick-up point to avoid all the faffing around caused by non-deliveries.

Are you actually serious?!

Yep.

Iceberglettuceisthecrunchiest · 30/07/2026 20:55

Ah fuck em, don’t want to go with a company like this!

But you have, multiple times?

Amazon drivers are mostly the best out there tbh.

Not where I am, they’re not.

What?

i don’t live in a high crime area

Clearly you do. All your packages keep getting nicked. In 15 years of living in the village I live in, not ONE package has gone missing - ever.

Well then, all's well that ends well. They don't want you as a customer, and you don't want to be a customer.

Result!

No, not nicked, not delivered, I have said this.

Well if it was just 'not delivered' then then why are they banning you?

Nousernameideaaga · 30/07/2026 21:00

You’ll know when I’ve been banned from Amazon as they will go out of business

Sorry OP that really sucks. I think somebody like Shein did similar for a while

Edited

That would have been the most sensible idea! After ya know, the first 10 or so packages went 'missing.'

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 30/07/2026 21:03

I’ve complained to Amazon so many times about fucking up deliveries and not following instructions. Scared I’ll get banned now.

Supersimkin7 · 30/07/2026 21:09

‘I've had to start ordering things to go to a shop round the corner because of parcels being stolen or hugely delayed by Evri. Shoes is a huge target by Evri in my area (I've had 3 pairs stolen, and one ripped open and left inside my bin!)’

Evri thieves here too. They take cash for next day delivery & hang onto everything for their once-weekly delivery. This is always dropped at exact same time, then it’s nicked within seconds of arrival.

Thursday 11:15 is rob time in SW4 - that’s how next found out us locals were being targeted.

One that tracks fraud and theft? Why not?

TheDenimPoet · 30/07/2026 21:51

No, but I had similar with JustEat. It's absolutely useless - there is often something missing, which I claim for. It's usually a side to the main dish that's missing. I got an email saying I would get no more refunds as I'd had too many. Right, so they can just.. not send my food? Or send the wrong thing, and I still have to pay? It's bizarre. It seems like a similar situation with you. If I were you, I wouldn't order from there anymore if that's their policy, as you run the risk of losing a of money.

Do you track your parcel after it's been dispatched, especially on the day it's supposed to be delivered?
Don't you get the notifications to say that Amazon has delivered and a photo?

heartsinvisiblefury · 30/07/2026 22:09

I started getting deliveries to a local pick up point after my previous delivery to my home address was marked as ‘handed to resident’ but the photo was a parcel in the middle of a road with the van door in the shot. Photo was also blurred as if taken mid throw. Was no where to be seen.

Can you not just sign up for a parcel box/secure drop off or have stuff delivered to family or friends? If Amazon won’t avert that then open a new Amazon account with hubby name and different address etc as has been suggested

ZebraZebraPig · 31/07/2026 00:57

Not this but I had an item that didn’t turn up and Amazon refused to refund me for a similar reason, so I did a charge back with my bank them Amazon threatened to take the money back from any of my accounts registered to them if I didn’t give the money back 🤣 needless to say I deleted them all of there and didn’t use it again so I always laugh when I see things like this as it’s not true in my case

Has anyone else been banned from Amazon?
ThisJollyTaupeGuide · 31/07/2026 05:15

Start having things delivered to a parcel hub, if there's one near you. Our building got one before the pandemic and it's excellent. You get an email with a code when your package is delivered that lets you access the locker where it's stored. And it helps Amazon track it. I had a delivery issue just this week and called Amazon and they got the order number, looked at the tracking record, figured out that the driver had done something weird, and were able to pop open the locker door that held my package via remote command from India or wherever they were while I stood and watched. It was a little surreal.

Sandytoes66 · 31/07/2026 06:00

Try not to use Amazon! We should all be moving away from it tbh although i know the convenience makes it hard to cut out. Christmas isn't for months, you have more than enough time to sort elsewhere!

SunnyRedSnail · 31/07/2026 06:10

Iceberglettuceisthecrunchiest · 29/07/2026 13:53

So basically just set up a new account with a different name and email but use the same card & address? Worried they’d check that

They will check and you'll get banned again. And just be careful your DH doesn't get banned too.

They're a business so can ban whoever they want (as long as it's not discrimination against protected chaeacteristics) so although its not your fault its not their fault either.

Surely you can manage without Amazon??
