when my kids were young enough to watch Bluey, I adored that show. We would all do the dance at the beginning.

They did make me feel bad about my parenting though!

Baffled by how many people came on this post, read it, and desperately felt the need to declare that they have no idea what OP is talking about and have never watched Bluey? You don't have to interact with the thread, just move on, this clearly doesn't concern you.

But yes, I love Chilli, and Bandit. The whole family dynamic on that show is lovely to watch. They serve as a good reminder when you're stressed and rushing around with toddlers, to slow down and try to enjoy it, despite the chaos.

The Camping one and The sign make me ugly cry. Also when Bluey learnt to walk, Grandad and when Bingo sleeps on her own 😭
Even the one about rain can make me emotional.
It’s such great writing and does make me stop and think and try to be a better parent and to remember Dd is a little girl and to let things go that don’t really matter in the grand scheme of things.
It’s so well observed, I love the bins one too where Bandit realises these are the big things-the simple everyday things 😩

This thread is amazing, it’s like a parallel universe. I think I’m going to start opening random threads and posting affronted comments about how I don’t know what anyone is talking about. In fact, I may just start walking up to groups of people mid-conversation in real life and get petulant when they don’t immediately stop the discussion and cater to my interests and experiences.

(But yes @Pjsaremyfaveoutfit , Bluey is top notch TV for everyone, not just kids).

It would be good if you explain to the groups you walk up to that just because they know what they’re talking about, it doesn’t mean that the rest of the world is at their exact same life stage.

If they are talking about the king or God or the colour of the grass, it would be especially good if you could tell them you’ve never heard of them.
