To think Andy Burnham’s hairstyle is too middle of the road, he’s slightly too short, and should resign immediately after being appointed

His hairstyle is neither classic or on trend. It’s just very ordinary.

I don’t know how tall he is but I sense he’s a few inches shorter than I’d want for a prime minister.

Given the above, I think it’s everyone’s interests that immediately after being asked to form a government by the King, he gets back in his car, does a three point turn on the Mall, goes back and resigns immediately.

Or "who" she wears!

(Does he actually have a wife?)

Yes and she looked as if she had sucked a lemon at his victory meeting after the by election.

I give it 3 months before the right wing media start gunning for him.

If Burnham and his supporters think he will fare any better at their hands then he's deluded.

It won't even take three months. And those on here who gunned for Starmer even before the election will already be on the starting blocks.

Can’t seethe attraction at all.

Nor can I, he looks like a bit younger Starmer

Queenage · 22/06/2026 16:22

He went to see James last night and he had his arm round his wife’s shoulders like he was 15. Oh sit down, Andy.

But not next to me ;)

Count Binface, I think you will find. Show some respect!

Sorry 😔 My passion for the only true leader left in British politics got me carried away. It happens a lot. Hail COUNT BINFACE 🇬🇧

JustSawJohnny · 22/06/2026 17:42

Jeeeezus! Give him 5 minutes at least!

I guess the Be Kind mantra doesn't count for PM's, huh?

😆

Agree.

It's all fun & games here (ish) but the Russian bot factories will be working full time to smear him and unfortunately most are happy to swallow the lies they are fed.

Bots are bought and paid for (and working for the interests of their own government on the side).

If he has an ounce of sense he'll come for online misinformation and the likes of GB News HARD.

Davros · 22/06/2026 17:51

Bin Burnham, burn Binface

I think AB looks like a reject from the Thunderbirds puppet bin

I can't comment because I don't know what his wife looks like. That's key info.

Ah well. That's an interesting question. I caught a glimpse of her on TV yesterday. She is slight and of pale, peroxided hair. I have concerns about the mid-shin length black jersey culottes she was wearing, with baseball boots. She runs her own business so should be able to afford some tailoring. Don't let Lord Ali pay, whatever you do.

Pinkflamingo10 · 22/06/2026 21:57

He has got excellent eyebrow game though

TaraRhu · 23/06/2026 15:34

I would add the hair dying and possible tinted mousturisor. He just can't pull it off . Looks like he's been filtered.

But not mouth and nose

Middlemarch123 · 23/06/2026 19:23

Larry the cat has seen off more Prime Ministers than us lot have had hot dinners
He’ll swipe away Andy without flicking a whisker, you’ll see 😂

TheIdlerReturns · 23/06/2026 19:27

But he's like Lord of the North, or God of the North isn't he? The Second Coming? I expect divine right will win out.

5128gap · 23/06/2026 19:29

I was prepared to give Burnham a chance, because I'd heard that he had amazing eyelashes. Yet on closer examination, I don't think they're that much better than Starmers. Certainly don't justify all this undemocratic nonsense. Just another Labour lie.

MrsTomRipley · 22/06/2026 16:09

He supports Everton - that alone makes him unfit to be PM

Goodness me. How was he ever allowed to become the major of Manchester? Let alone even be allowed to enter London.

I'm prepared to give him a chance OP.

IF he can restore all public services to pre -austerity levels with a 3 week period (without spending any more money);
Raise defense spending to at least 12% of GDP without increasing taxes;
And boost economic growth while cutting immigration and not getting any closer to Europe then MAYBE I'll just spend the next 2 years moanig about how Labour are "bankrupting the country" and "destroying our traditional values" before voting Tory at the next GE.

I think thats a reasonable attitude.

Ed. for spelling

Edited

ALL we want is lower taxes and increase public spending
Is that too much to ask? Why does the government refuse to give the people what they want

I hate to break it to you, but his lashes are false! 😱 Total faker.

Isn’t he an easy Lego? I saw something about that recently.

ThreeTescoBags · 23/06/2026 19:35

His running shorts are too long. Show us an entire ball sack or get your eyes off downing street

He’s The King of the North

I’ve met him, he’s a nice bloke, very charismatic, done great things in Greater Manchester. His plans around the MBacc, and skills fit young people are really good.

ChallengerTank · 23/06/2026 19:39

I didn’t like his suit getting sworn in. Looked like he borrowed it from a slightly smaller relative.

Oh, don’t worry @TimeFlysWhenYoureHavingRumand @Persephonia1966, “Andy” is in favour of everything that he thinks might be popular with the particular audience he’s talking to at the time, even if these things are mutually incompatible or impossible and he has no realistic plan of how to fund them and denies them later. We all just misunderstood what he stated clearly previously, because we’re stupid.

All hail the windsock Messiah! The pound shop red version of Boris Johnson will unite the nation!

Fear not, because… there will be buses for everyone! Beautiful, yellow, covfefe buses. That is the only issue on which he’s been consistent — his obsession with buses — and is the peak of his achievements in life. Bigly yellow buses are all that is necessary to transform the UK into utopia!

Persephonia1966 · 23/06/2026 19:41

I thought he was the darker haired version of Steve from Minecraft? The beer belly and repetitive outfits…
