AIBU to leave my 16yo over night?

I'm dating and it's going well. I'd like to occasionally spend the night at his but I've never left DS before. He is sensible and I would be reachable on the phone.

I'm not ready for DS to meet him yet and I feel like it would be extremely awkward to bring him back to stay if DS is home even if nothing happened.

No, you gave your opinion and other people gave theirs. You are the one who is choosing to go back and forth repeatedly. You've posted more than anyone else on this thread.

No they kept replying to my comments and continuing it on.

😂

I think that's just tipped it over to obvious troll territory.

I left my 16yr old home alone.
I was left home alone at the same age.
A friend's son moved out at 16 for a college placement.
All perfectly fine.

I left mine at that age, yes. Now and again for cos I was doing something fun and other times for work.
He’s mature, is happy to be left and can be trusted to look after the house and (importantly) to get help if needed.
