It doesn't occur to you that these women were likely also victims of these men?

Yes, some of them may be. But I should think plenty of Pakistani heritage women in the UK would prioritise their family, clan, community over the safety of white British girls.

It blows my mind that people in other countries are posting about it online showing their incredulous disgust that this is happening in the UK yet there is not a peep from our mainstream media in this country

Yes, agree. I saw Jordan Peterson talking about this. He was incredulous that this was happening and being allowed to happen in the UK. I don't agree with everything he says but on this, he was bang on the money.

I'm surmising they don't want race riots. I can't think of any other excuse reason.

It would eventually sort the problem though wouldn’t it. Or one would hope.

Wonder what these men say about white women and girls amongst each other and in their homes openly in front of their children, perpetuating the permission to abuse.

He talks more sense than the left like to give him credit for. They have their little list of men's names that they froth over. All white men, of course.

I know, the so called 'Manosphere', but some of the guys on there are really sharp and not afraid to tell it like it is. I learn far more from them about what's going on than I do from msm.

Their logic will always be denied because it pays to keep people divided. It's got to a very serious point when race prioritises rape. The dividers need an underdog to defend and condescend. Then with the actual ethnic minority perpetrator/s, its easier to blame the victim. The goverment's Research Information and Communications Unit (RICE) exists to minimise certain crimes to prevent outrage and civil unrest. If we've got to that stage, something went wrong years ago. Probably starting under Blair's watch.

Yes I am shocked all over again by this, so little reporting in UK media. This is as bad as the Epstein scandal which was at least (I think) widely reported in the US though continues to be hushed up by mainstream media here to the continuing shame of this country. It became a scandal largely because the information from overseas ensured it came to public attention.

It's the same story...once the complicity of members of the British establishment in a scandal becomes apparent, and once said establishment has a vested interest in avoiding public outrage perceived as a threat to them due their connivance and corruption being obvious, they fight tooth and nail to keep the whole thing quiet as much as possible for as long as possible. Why else is the BBC barely reporting this?

And again it is girls and women whose lives are ruined. I get that it is hard to learn that your country is guilty of a massive crime against humanity, up there with the historic crimes people here read about and pride themselves that Britain historically fought against. You would think that on this site of all places the report would be up front and centre and people on here would be bristling with outrage at the suffering of women & girls and the abject failure of their country to defend them.... wouldn't you? But apparently you'd be wrong as there are just a few commentators; after all these girls and women are largely poor and vulnerable with little support around them - so who cares about them right? Including most people on here it seems.

Although it is shameful that the British aren't doing it, I hope that overseas commentators continue to shout about this scandal so that it becomes impossible to ignore and that report is seen by as many people as possible. Although it is shameful that they are having to do it, I hope that as many victims as feel able to continue to continue to shout about the injustice and pain they have suffered. Although it is shaming to learn how abjectly this country has failed to protect women and girls on a mass scale, I hope this report is seen by as many as possible despite the deliberate barriers placed in the way, so that public horror grows until it no more becomes an option to hush it up.

Overseas speakers such as Musk is bitched about because he's right leaning. The same with Vance. Then there's the outrage at Tommy Robinson speaking at Oxford Union. Protestors never letting free speech take place unless it's their kind of speech. This country has seen a chamber evolve where left leaning commentators try to cancel alternative opinion. Counter protests about immigration and women's rights are also the left's domain. You can trace many problems back to their dominance and interference in law and order.

DandelionFarmer · 21/06/2026 11:18

It's evident on other threads that for some the overwhelming need to to be seen as not "racist" is there and indeed for calling it out so they are the "virtuous ".

I despise them for the country they have created.

Why are such a vocal minority of UK women letting girls down on this issue? That’s the question I find baffling. Is this like the trans debates all over again?

Yes similar

I doubt that they were forced to have sex with animals or taken to hospital because a whiskey bottle had been forced into their vagina and shattered. Let’s not pretend that they are treated the same way as these girls, yes they are treated badly in general because we know that a woman is nothing in their culture but you cannot say that they are victims.

Neither can you say they weren't. You have no idea. It's not a stretch to believe a man happy to forcefully insert anything into a vagina would be doing that to his wife too, is it?

Wendyworm · 21/06/2026 12:38

So my theory.
.is the left think it's all racism
,and the grooming gangs are made up ,
and its all exaggerated, and if ...if ...
some of it was possibly true ...
it's no worse than white men have done to girls and women over the years ..
That is what I get when I try to have a conversation with my DH ,who is as far left as a person could possibly be .
But he has never lived in a multicultural area ,he lived in A very expensive area and went to private school ..so I think he just can't comprehend what some areas are like for children from working classes

That's for them to ponder. Their conduct wouldn't become acceptable if we establish a claim to victimhood.

In fact this is actually a refreshing thread to escape all the one sided nonsense.

user293948849167 · 21/06/2026 13:13

I have a good friend who grew up in Blackburn in the 80s/90s, she says everyone knew this was going on back then. It was like an open secret and something parents knew they needed to protect their DDs from.
She would be warned about it by her parents - who not to talk to/be careful of.
There were streets that were no go areas for white people, especially girls.
She would always be conscious of what she wore and used to dress quite conservatively to avoid being called a “slag” and have men leer or shout stuff from cars (most of the time it wasn’t white men shouting…). She couldn’t believe the difference when she moved away to university.

I remember talking to her about flashing and she was incredulous that I had never been flashed, I was incredulous she had been a number of times before even turning 18!

Just because you have no experience of this stuff doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen, we need to listen to people, especially women, who live in these areas and know what it’s like.

Read the report and see what they said about why Muslim girls didn’t get abused. There was a reason why they abused and degraded white girls.

It's the same collapse of feminism we saw after 7th October. These people talk a good fight about women's rights and misogyny until it comes to white victims. Except with Jewish victims of rape and worse, that puzzled the virtue signallers because of course not all Jews are white. Never mind, the argument switched to but Gazans I am not meaning to derail but it all is relevant.

tinatsarina · 21/06/2026 13:49

Im from NI and I am appalled and outrage that this was basically allowed to happen because people were afraid of being called racist. When will the UK government do anything about this? We are a devolved government and can only do so much. We need Westminster to actually make any impact.

EmailsaysOOO · 21/06/2026 13:56

You Are Not Being Unreasonable.
I can't begin to imagine what those girls went through. Vulnerable people left in the hands of their vile abusers.

Why are so many people and children slipping through the authorities clutches? It keeps happening. Not sure if any government is up to it. I don't know how it helps to look at each different government that is failing these girls. We need more than yet another inquiry

JuliettaCaeser · 21/06/2026 13:58

What’s so troubling is that if you as a feminist speak up for the October 7 or grooming gang victims people think you are “far right”. I know they do I see it in their eyes. In my mind I will always prioritise women and girls over race and culture and always will do.

Well said. It's also up to the different UK nations to stick together as well as NI. We are all being affected.

It's going to take a powerful group of women to take this forward. Maggie Oliver types and as much as you might agree or disagree with Waspi, they at least aren't backing down.
