Just heard Nigel talk about this on LBC following Digwa sentencing. Also saw the video... I'm shocked and so saddened. Not sure what my aibu is but I think we need to ban all religious weapons for a start . What do u think ? Are you in police ? Are you treating people differently?

Do you seriously think that Digwa was purely motivated by the left politicising the word "racist"? What precisely is your evidence for that?

You answered your own question there!

You seem angry. Why do you want Tommy Robinson to be able to organise marches but don’t want Palestine marches to go ahead?

The number of times you use the phrase ‘race card’ on this thread, says something about you. And I afraid it’s not good.

Or, to put it in simple language you might just understand, ‘it’s pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’

Exactly
No one I have seen has had anything but condemnation for the murderer
But that phrase is crass
Completely the opposite to the dignity of the victims family
Vile

Oh and now we are back to mentioning Tommy Robinson. I was wondering how many times his name would be dragged up by the left to try and defend their argument lol.

Of course I condem it. I condem all violence. However, you can’t make it all one sided when there have been other protests/ riots happening/ happened and nobody bats an eyelid because it suits their narrative!

There has been plenty of batting of eyelids about other violent protests. Violence is never justifiable.

I've just learned that someone actually called the police over a hour earlier, reporting an altercation and a stabbing.
The police did not attend. They only attended after the race card phone call.
Henry lived for well over an hour then. If he'd had prompt help, he might well have lived.
But of course a mere stabbing isn't enough to get the police out. Not the priority at all.

That makes it even worse and it is being kept very quiet, it makes me so sad that no one could help and call an ambulance

yes why is a lie about a racist comment given more credibility and importance than someone fatally injured, wrong priorities

Seend · Today 19:25

CaesarAugusta · Today 19:18

Errm, that isn't an accusation of gaslighting. Read it again.

I think it’s a waste of time for you and others to try and debate intelligently with this person.

Livelovebehappy · Today 19:26

BIossomtoes · Today 19:06

No, he may well have sent is condolences privately. He’s not politicising a tragedy either way.

Zak likes to be in the thick if things. Look at how quick he was to share conversations he had with police, with the media, over last months attack on the Jewish community. Zak was beside himself that the police attacked the perpetrator a little too aggressively. I dont think he does anything 'privately', which is why he has to continuously apologise for things he says.

Step back a moment.

Who is dead? A white boy.
Who killed him? A non white man.

The only person that has actively been harmed in this entire scenario in a racially motivated attack is a white boy.

Which is why posts like yours seem insensitive and misguided.

Well, no. Last night's thugs were stealing from innocent people, partly so as to give themselves weapons made from their fenceposts and bricks from their garden walls. Eleven police officers were injured. Local residents were left shocked and traumatised.

How did any of that help Henry Nowak and his family?

Fluffyholeysocks · Today 19:32

This case has just shown how disappointing the calibre of our police leadership currently is. I found Henry's father to be a much more impressive man than either the Chief Constable and the Police Commisioner.

Not sure what you don’t get. I have posted a link for you to read this morning. A link directly from the gov website. You obviously didn’t check any facts at all if you had to ask me about it. Not sure why you chose to ask me specifically but there you go….

Edited

The link did not answer the point I made. I have pointed that out already.

I am in awe of people who can maintain quiet dignity in their grief. He has lost his son, yet can still speak with such calm, whilst being broken. His boy was completely let down and it cannot happen again. I hope lasting changes are made.

You don’t seem to have answered the question. TR organises marches. Like the one in Southampton in response to this case. So it’s relevant. What argument do you imagine I’m defending by mentioning him btw?

Well he’s not in the thick of this. Damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t.

QED. The term ‘race card’ is always used by racists.

In this case, the disgusting perpetrator made false allegations of racism and it was completely unacceptable, as was the behaviour of the police. And a poor innocent boy lost his life.

That is how to describe it. Racists use the term ‘race card’ to minimise genuine instances of prejudice and discrimination and it’s not a phrase decent people use. I wouldn’t use the term, any more than I would say, ‘antisemitism card’.

The murderer used the race card because liberals have enabled it. The only racists, in this scenario were the Digwa family, who gave no value to the life of a white boy. Of course that will make you feel uneasy because it doesn't fit into your preordained narrative.

You are free to carry on using the phrase of course in all areas of your life. And others are free to judge that.

You have politely asked me to stop yet keep coming back to argue with me? Okay! I haven’t even read the rest of what you have writren because you are becoming boring now. You decided to quote me last night, I responded! Don’t quote people and try to make out that they are lying then you won’t get that sort of response. That’s all I’m saying on the matter.

I asked you to stop the aggressive bullying. Yet you continue to misrepresent me. I am fully entitled to point that out. As I said, you won't succeed in bullying me out of taking part in the thread.

CaesarAugusta · Today 19:42

Flyingintotheunknown · Today 18:51

Nah you lefties take it to the extreme and quote him, Tommy Robinson and the word ‘racist’ on every single thread about similar topics…. To the point it’s lost its effectiveness and we are sick of it. Nobody can take your “legitimate” discussions seriously anymore!

Do you seriously believe Farage and Robinson are not racist? Why?

CaesarAugusta · Today 19:46

Gloriia · Today 18:58

Oh, only some protests are allowed it seems. Anything against Israel, anything 'BLM' fill your boots get outraged and maybe loot JD sports while you're at it.

Anything protesting about the horrific murder of an innocent white student and the useless police at the scene nooo, shh! Sit down and be quiet.

Protests are fine. The right to protest is a valuable one which should be preserved at all costs.

What is not fine is using protests as an excuse for stealing and violence - irrespective of the reason for the protest. It is also not fine to try to whip people up to be violent by calling for "cold rage"

Why are you going through all my posts and responding to them all! How weird! I come back to this thread so see masses of quotes from you where I’ve responded to other posters and where it had nothing to do with you! I’m not responding anymore because you seem seem to have a bee in your bonnet and are just looking for an argument from me specifically! Not going to give you the satisfaction of rising to your vendetta! Goodnight

BLM riots included, I take it.

Fluffyholeysocks · Today 19:51

I do wish people would stop squabbling and trying to score points and instead look at the bigger picture. This case is about a poor young man who instead of being listened to and cared for as he was dying, heard he was being arrested and handcuffed. Think on that. Stop with the talk of people being racist - just think, this talk of being 'racist' makes my blood boil. A lad died.

CaesarAugusta · Today 19:53

Flyingintotheunknown · Today 19:10

🥱 And… what are they actually doing? Again, they pop up at a general election then disappear again! You have obviously got so offended at what I said about your beloved party lol

Why does pointing out that 72 is not "a few seats" automatically mean they're my beloved party? You're mistaken yet again. But I do acknowledge that they're doing more useful work than Reform are. Incidentally, Reform were conspicuous by their absence at the debate on the petition against the SEND White Paper.

LuckyHazelFox · Today 19:54

@CaesarAugusta are you still taking cold rage literally?
