British behaviour in holiday hotel

We are staying at a good all inclusive resort (yes, I know all inclusive is not high end, but this is about as good a one as you can get). I am just shocked and ashamed at fellow british people at breakfast time. Letting their kids make a huge mess by allowing them to get their own food. Huge amounts of wasted food. Multiple untouched plates left on tables. Total disregard for others barging round, blocking walkways etc. When did this become ok?? AIBU with expectations? Bear in mind this is not a cheap rubbish tui-blue type place. I dread to think what they are like!

Sounds like it's just the people you associate with OP. I went to a 5 star Tui blue place a couple of years ago and didn't experience this at all.

YABU to think AI cannot be high end. I'm in one right now, it's absolutely unreal. There are very few British people here (we are not British either) because it's the wrong season for the influx. Which is why we are here now 😆

It's amazing that you seem to know most Europeans or the world think of Brits as the worst tourists ever but were almost offended and didn't know that I was using another language to you on a few posts back so unaware of any other languages other than English- how ironic.

Not personally a fan of the AI holiday whilst also being fully conversant with the negative 'Brit broad' behaviours and fully supportive of any local community that wants to get rid of it.

I do challenge the concept that it's only The Brits whose behaviour is shocking as I've seen people of many nationalities behave just as disrespectfully, if not worse.

It’s worse at more expensive hotels in my experience. I’ve stayed at those Tui Blue hotels you mentioned negatively and it was lovely.

The one thing I like about the TUI hotels is there’s a good mix of nationalities and everyone is friendly, Germans, Dutch, Belgiun’s, the nordics, but also Spanish, Italians, Irish of course… German v British silent disco was fun as was German vs British rep dance off… no drunkenness that I saw, nothing beyond just having a good time
