Hope so. Although who replaces him could be scarier. We could wake up to a crashed pound and runaway bond yields if Angela tax fraud Rayner gets in.

SingleSexSpacesInSchools · 11/05/2026 21:57

he has already gone

Isthisright220 · 11/05/2026 21:57

of course he’s not going to make a speech at 10.30pm saying he is going.

maybe by Friday.

Tiillytubby · 11/05/2026 21:58

He’s become the story…which is never good 😬

One step closer to Prime Minister Farage.

Walter Titty, you mean?

Vargas · 11/05/2026 22:07

Bloody journalists desperate for him to go as chaos feeds their clicks. They don’t give a crap about stability.

mumofoneAloneandwell · 11/05/2026 22:07

Can't stand Catherine West

Worse than Margaret hodge

Perhaps Starmer read Kemi's Alternative Kings Speech and realised how well written it is compared to his vagueness this morning.
Concise and some costings, very thorough. The Tories are on their way back.

mumofoneAloneandwell · 11/05/2026 22:25

I see my request for people left of centre went ignored

Hope not. Hopefully the Tories are dead and buried. Even the fossils are hard to find.

100x worse

Fluffyowl00 · 11/05/2026 22:28

Shhh -don’t tell anyone but I think Kemi is on here in disguise 👀

BunfightBetty · 11/05/2026 22:29

Can't believe he's still clinging on.

But I do fear who comes next, they're likely to be even worse - probably by a lot.

As a centre-left leaner I worry they're going to get someone who'll take them further left, rather than someone who has the nous to take practical, pragmatic decisions to get the economy and country moving again.

Fluffyowl00 · 11/05/2026 22:30

72% of people in the other post in support of Starmer so I’m afraid you’ve got the nut cases over here
