Shame on you then!!!! Have you failed to notice the state of our country under this lot after nearly 20yrs of lies and corruption?

Agreed, The only good thing about labour is that they're not the SNP

Not, never have been a Tory, but I do like Kemi of all the party leaders.

Same.

Labour’s grip on London has reduced. Wales gone for them after 100 years. Losing votes to everyone, everywhere. Starmer looking shaky.

Great stuff.

Good good. I think starmer should stay though. bit of stability. he's good at not moving.

SNP voter and I posted that yesterday😆Not angry. Busy celebrating our fith ,or is sixth Holyrood win...I lose track.

You have not read the thread. The OP did insult and patronise me first. Quite a humbling day for the tories, as I predicted.

Edited

The tories are happy today. I didn't insult or patronise you - just corrected you.

'Talking a lot of sense' didn't translate very well at the local elections.

Lost councils to the Lib Dems and a fair amount of voters to Reform.

If this was Labour, you'd be calling for her to resign.

Labour did worse, isn't a reason to celebrate.

Exactly this. Labour were second and Tories fourth, not much more than Greens!

Don’t make us all laugh. The only Tories that will be happy are those happy for their demise. They’re a non party now, of little political relevance and likely to stay that way under Badenoch.

Nope because I was part of the vast amount of the country who couldn’t vote. Don’t worry we’ll all be out in force during the next general election when the picture will look very different.

How did the last election go for your party Tory HQ?

Do keep telling yourself that, if it helps you to accept Labour's tragedy.. I won't talk in detail about percentages and statistics. But briefly - Labour came into power on a landslide just 2 years ago. The fact they just lost approx 60% of their councillors in local elections, and gave away 14 councils - is quite a feat. The next GE is in 3 years, Labour will be a flea on the flea of the big white elephant they are now. The conservatives by then, will win.

I feel great thanks. Labour losing grip on London, Wales out after 100 years. Feedback on Starmer as expected. He could go which would be great,

Labour losing everywhere to everyone.

Who will you be ‘out in force’ for?

😆Not on Thursdays performance they won’t.

We have a few more years for the electorate to be able to start enjoying Labour policies. It’s still early days.

The country as a whole are not going to forget the 14 years of Tory shambles that we had- not the far right or the left.

As I said the Tories are an irrelevance now.

Smeuse · 09/05/2026 10:40

Labour voters have acknowledged the heavy losses, Tory supporters are in denial it seems.

And this too. Ik it must be hurting some, but those jibes are a bit June 2024. All those losses for Labour since then. Remarkable.

The elections have been a disaster for Labour, there is no doubt about that. But there is also no doubt that the Tories also had a difficult time.

The Tories might be the official opposition rn but the party Labour needs to beat in the next general election is Reform. Unless Reform implodes before then. We live in hope.

I’m any party that isn’t the Tories or Reform.

Word of advice if you want any chance of getting back into power. You’re going to have to ditch Badenoch and stop the far right rhetoric in the hope you’ll attract Reform voters. Reform voters will be voting reform and along with the left anybody right of centre won’t be forgetting the 14 years of Tory shit show we had .

The Tories are f*d. They dug their hole and will now need to lie in it.

I’m enjoying Starmer and Labour’s results, Wales lost after 100 years. London’s map has changed. All good here.

Not really. Labour are in power and have more power to attract voters over the next few years. They were never going to be popular at this point which is why the Tories ran for the hills. What have the Tories got? A symbolic 14 years of history when in power that alienates the right and left with many of their voters showing their true colours and fleeing for reform or out of politics.

This thread is about Badenoch talking sense, don't you think it would make sense for her to acknowledge how bad the elections were for her party?

Or do you think she is veering towards a coalition with Reform?
