Isn’t this thread about Badenoch? So sad that her fans can’t even focus on her on a thread with her name in the title it’s that bad.

Not really if you’re a Tory supporter though- which we all know you are.

Mostly I want Starmer to go and Labour to take a pummelling. Ik you’re angry and unhappy but not everyone is.

I’m delighted by the results generally and the sun is shining. Even your posts on here can’t dent the good feeling over Labour’s losses.

You are delighted to see Reform doing well.

Thanks for making that clear.

That’s your post not mine. I’m delighted Labour took a pummelling, as said.

They lost to everyone, everywhere. Great.

Are you pleased for the Greens then?

TheLandlordsAreFrowning · 09/05/2026 11:11

I can totally understand those who hate Starmer and Labour being happy and celebrating. But are any of you slightly concerned about the Reform surge? They are taking votes from the Tory party as well as Labour.

If this carries on, Badenoch might have to make some sort of pact with Reform at the next GE and/or enter into a coalition. Would she be happy to do that?

😆Not on Thursdays performance they won’t.

We have a few more years for the electorate to be able to start enjoying Labour policies. It’s still early days.

The country as a whole are not going to forget the 14 years of Tory shambles that we had- not the far right or the left.

As I said the Tories are an irrelevance now.

I’m not sure you understand how much worse things are going to get under Labour.

Ramming though laws on assisted suicide - ignoring the pleas of disability groups and vulnerable people who, as we can see in other countries, will be severely at risk. All to please Esther Rantzen.

Removing our rights to a jury trial, his continuing continuing refusal to adhere to the law causing harm to large numbers of children from puberty blockers and removing women rights to single sex spaces, causing fundamental changes to areas of the country and unceasing civil unrest with his failure to act on immigration and criminals, the disastrous and mind blowingly costly Chagos ‘deal’ which is lose/lose for us. The list could go on for a very long time but I’ll get bored.

I think that by the end of this term if we still have a sufficient level of democracy, the Labour performance will be such that people will look back on the Conservative governments with new eyes and be desperate for them to regain power.

If it came to it, I’m sure Kemi would have Farage whipped into shape in no time.

I doubt it will be necessary though.

She'd be the junior partner though, going by current polls.

As said I’m pleased London has changed, Greens were the only party who turned up to canvass here. They put in the time and deserve the success.

I’m also pleased Labour lost in Wales and Scotland and that includes to the SNP and PC. I don’t think the former do well on education etc but that’s for those voters to decide on. Lib Dems picked up votes too. Generally whoever it is who led to those losses for Labour, fine.

You seem focussed on them to the exclusion of all the other stuff going on. Remember Starmer sold himself to his party as the one person who could stop Reform getting into power.

It turns out he has the reverse Midas touch on this so they’ll have to decide whether to stick or twist.

I am just amused on how you decline to comment on Reform.

Would you mind the Tories merging with Reform?

I answered your question on Greens by not mentioning them? Er ok.

I just did comment on them, your party leader is ensuring they get more votes. Decide whether to change him to avoid that.

As for amusement, that’s all for those who dislike Labour today. The angry Labour lot are on here posting as you are.

I am not even a Labour supporter, so that's funny.

Starmer is PM to all of us.

Luckily the majority of people I know won't vote Reform, all different political leanimgs, all decent people.

Muslims suffer the most hate crime.

Badenoch strongly supported sending asylum seekers to Rwanda which was not only vile but useless and a big waste of money.

She has no policies and contributed handsomely to the chronic ineptitude of the Tories this country had to suffer for 14 years. When the Tories sink even lower tomorrow I sincerely hope they get rid of her asap.

No - Muslims do not suffer the most hate crime.
All the statistics show that Jews are 8 times more likely than Muslims to be a victim of hate crime

I like the way Kemi has stood up for the Jewish community and called out the antisemitic behaviour on the Pro Palestinian marchers .

Smeuse · 10/05/2026 09:19

Shame Badenoch does not have the same strong words about the Tommy Robinson march

Plenty of anitsemitsm on show there too.

We should condemn both antisemitism and anti Muslim sentiments, neither should be tolerated.

Yes, she has strong moral principles which Labour and the Greens are lacking.

I think with time she will attract other sane, democracy upholding, high quality colleagues to reinvigorate the Conservatives.

It’s interesting how angry the ‘anti Kemi’s’ in this thread are and how little they have as actual criticism of her.

Can you provide evidence of this anti semitism on the march please. And what has he said that is worse than a growing selection of Green candidates/councillors?

Also which Tommy Robinson march are you talking about? The only one I can see near today timewise hasn’t happened yet.

The march hasn't happened yet but neo nazi groups support it.

And it is not about what is 'worse'

I condemn all racism, antisemitism and islamaphobia, don't you?

So you’re accusing him of organising a march that shows anti semitism but it hasn’t actually happened yet. Ok.

What do you mean by Islamophobia? I’m afraid I can’t condemn criticism of some Islamic practices if you are taking the Labour Party definition. It’s a bit odd that you would.
