Their next leader will almost definitely be one of Starmer, Burnham or Streeting so yes - you are right about that!

Whereas the Conservative Party are not talking about replacing Kemi - despite the party is polling badly at the moment. She is the best thing about them at the moment.

She sure is. I think they know it.

LuckyHazelFox · 06/06/2026 12:03

😆 🤣

Here's the link to the PM Uncensored interview, she's on at about 1hr 40.

Thank you! I did look for it yesterday after your recommendation, but couldn't find it.

Oh, I just put it on the other thread. It's worth a watching twice, anyway.

Absolutely.
All this talk of labour being multicultural, better for women. To my recollection, they have never had a female leader, or a female pm. I don't think they have any non white pms either? They will have females in the party, and even in senior roles to make it look like they value them, but won't let them lead the party it seems.

Conservatives have had several female PM's, and Sunak as a non white PM. And now have a black women as leader.

Labour are just all talk. And when they elect their next leader, my money is on a white male again.

Edited

And instead of looking at why exactly they haven't felt that one woman or one Black or Brown person in their entire history has ever been suitable to be leader, they decide to dismiss the choices of Black and Brown people who serve in Conservative governments. They are either ' coconuts' or are trying to suck up to racists to protect themselves, or are in some other way too stupid to make their own decisions. Labour really need to take a hard look at themselves but of course, they won't. Too busy patting themselves on the back for ' opposing all racism and misogyny ( unless it's their own)

The media doesn’t seem to think Shabana Mahmood is in with a shout, which is interesting given she polls more popular with non-Labour Party voters than any of the other possibles.

Labour seem to think she's not left wing enough.

Also explains why non- Labour party voters like her.

They will never vote for Mahmoud. I doubt she'll even bother to stand.

Well said. The evidence is there. They will definitely replace Starmer with yet another white male.
Harriet Harman says that Conservative women aren't real feminists.

Speaks volumes doesn't it.
As a pp said, I doubt she'll even stand as its pointless. I'm hoping she crosses the floor soon. 😁

Purity spiralling to prevent women of colour progressing - yep, that’s the Labour Party.

That's her excuse for the tories having female leaders, but not Labour. She's been saying that for years now. Its ludicrous.

Ludicrous

Wasn’t Labour offensive about Kwasi Kwarteng too? Not sounding as he should. A bit like the not the right sort comment in pp

Why on earth would she be ousted? Absolute made up rubbish.
You must be watching and reading some twisted stuff to have these views. She is doing very well.

Did you notice the recent council elections?

The Tories lost 100s of councillors, barely better than Labour, so whatever her own personal ratings, they are not translating into votes or support for the Tories.

Should this remain, then yes she will be gone by 2029, the Cons are nothing but ruthless when it comes to getting rid of their failed leaders, by god they have enough practice 😆

Precisely. How do they square the poor ongoing Tory ratings with the supposed miracle that is Kemi? La La Land.

PeachOctopus · 06/06/2026 14:26

They can’t be trusted after the Boris wave.

Who do you vote for @SpinningInInfinity? If it’s still Labour you have bigger issues with your party.

Smeuse · 06/06/2026 14:28

She spoke sense by condemning Farage's comments on Wednesday.

That was all

Deflection. You seem to think all dissenters vote Labour. They don't.
