You are right Starmer was at the other end of the spectrum. He understood what was was at stake over Iran and decisively distanced us from Trump. He did a brilliant job.

Kemi did not get it at all. It was a dangerous situation and she would have rushed in.

The Left dominate this country. They certainly dominate academia, the arts, the publishing industry and the BBC. And they have convinced people that sensible, reasonable points of view are extreme or right-wing. I have seen people who want rapists deported described as ‘far-right’. It’s f-ing insane.

Thanks for posting this. I hadn’t seen it but yes, I do find the way she dealt with that heckler impressive. And I like that she was so clear and unequivocal about her zero tolerance towards antisemitism.

I’m another person who didn’t used to like her but I’m warming to her now.

I have always found her descriptions of life in Nigeria interesting - I very much doubt she is making anything up. "She is known for" doesn't mean much. I prefer to make up my own mind.

Kemi may come across as impressive, but remember this: it's really easy to look and sound good when you're in opposition. You're not having to make difficult decisions or compromises, your 'good ideas' are not being put to the test, you don't have an opposition trying to trip you up or oppose your Bills, you're not having to face the uncomfortable realities of Whitehall, or the NHS, that scupper your seemingly perfectly logical ideas.

If you vote for Kemi you'll still get the same old Tories, do they really deserve another chance? It'll be all the same people with all the same approach and ideas as we had before. We can't keep voting them in and miraculously expect a different result. Kemi will be betrayed, like all the others before her, bc some self-important prig will think he can do better . Yes, it will be another rich, self-important white guy (with super-rich friends pulling his strings) - not the person you voted for.
