How many people have you slept with?

…and do you lie about it? I’m late 30s, 4 or 5 relationships, most 1-2 years, been married now for 6 years. I’ve slept with around 50 people (I know cos I made a list once!) Only 1 or 2 were ‘true’ one night stands. I know that’s a lot but I refuse to be ashamed of it, I had a lot of fun in my youth. When I was dating before my husband I never admitted it to anyone I was dating. I’d always say less than 10. So how many people have you slept with and do you freely admit it or do you reduce the number a lot if asked by people you’re dating or were dating before if you’re in a relationship? And how do you feel about the number?

Just one - and I married him. But I don judge

Age 45, no idea how many. More than 10, less than 100. Most of those before the age of 24, with a smattering in my early 30’s. No regrets.

One - just my husband. Our first time was on our wedding night and we've been married 43 years.

Loads. Men and women. Because I was hot. And really like sex, especially with other hot people when we fancied each other. It was great!
Lost count somewhere in the early 2000s (era, not number of shags 🤣). I've been with my husband for over 20 years. He has never asked but knows it's lots because I was initially really reluctant to be exclusive and wanted to be honest with him. I know he was pretty chuffed to be the one who got to keep me actually. I've been monogamous ever since. I think he got around a bit before me but I couldn't care less with how many people. We are very happy. And both feel very lucky to have each other.

I stopped counting at what I think Mr 200.

I met my husband shortly afterwards so I think 201 😂😬

Edited because I forgot to add - I don't lie about it but I also haven't been asked for years. If I was asked, I'd be honest.

I came across the term "body count" only recently.

I thought it referred to the number of people you'd murdered, not shagged 😅

I’m 45 - slept with 7 altogether, 3 in my mid/late teens, 3 early 20’s and been with my DH since i was 25.

Id say probably fairly average…

I’m in my early 70’s now and had a lot of “fun” in my late teens and early 20’s, and then a fair bit more between husbands!

So, two husbands with about an 10 year gap between them in my late 30’s/early 40’s, and a significant number of others. Not quite into 3 figures but not far short. No shame here at all. As for lying about it …. That very much depends on who I’m talking to.

Thankfully women are free to do as they please and if men aren’t okay with it - tough luck to them!

The ones that do cross my mind and cause me discomfort occasionally are those where, as a youngster, I 'did it' purely because I felt pressurised and wanted to get rid of them.
