How many people have you slept with?

…and do you lie about it? I’m late 30s, 4 or 5 relationships, most 1-2 years, been married now for 6 years. I’ve slept with around 50 people (I know cos I made a list once!) Only 1 or 2 were ‘true’ one night stands. I know that’s a lot but I refuse to be ashamed of it, I had a lot of fun in my youth. When I was dating before my husband I never admitted it to anyone I was dating. I’d always say less than 10. So how many people have you slept with and do you freely admit it or do you reduce the number a lot if asked by people you’re dating or were dating before if you’re in a relationship? And how do you feel about the number?

I made a list once too and it was 24. Then I met my DH so its now 25. We got together when I was 27. I had ALOT of fun in my 20s, several ONS and flings. I also made some poor choices including being way too drunk to consent and once I had sex with someone cos I had gone back to his place, had no idea where I was, had sobered up enough to realsie I didnt want to do it, but was scared of his reaction if I said no 😕

Ten, but all between the ages of 17 and 23, DH being the only one in the last 27 years. There really could have been a lot more if I'd wanted that. DH was not really interested in my "bodycount" as people charmingly refer to it now. His was rather fewer than mine, FWIW.

It's nobody's business. I would never ask a partner or a date and I would not expect to be asked.

It’s totally irrelevant. When having sex in the past you weren’t thinking ‘oh I better not do this cos it might annoy my future husband I haven’t met yet’

I do to be honest yes.

That's about average I think.

I know roughly, but can't actually remember. No one has ever asked me and I can't see why they would care. (If they do, they're not the right person for me.)

I've been married for 1000 years but my husband was my 8th sexual partner.

It would have been 9, but the object of my affection was a committed Christian and I couldn't persuade him from the righteous path 😉
