You have to remember that these businesses aren’t stand alone, they are part of an almost invisible web.

Even better

Things are changing really quickly... it’s sad because high streets used to feel like the centre of everything. We had proper shops, people you recognised and pride in how things looked. It makes such a difference.

Totally missing the point.

a) Don't we need people to be bilingual before we give them jobs in customer facing roles?

b) As it's a low skill, low wage job, can't one of the already unemployed do it?

What could possibly be so special about wandering around a shopping centre in a uniform while doing very little and having no real powers, that requires people to be brought from the Indian subcontinent especially to do it, and take up a space in a drastic housing shortage while they are at it?

Perhaps they couldn't find a local monolingual person to do it

I’m not shocked in the slightest. These illegal shops are quite brazen in our communities. The only shocking thing is that people are shocked. These shops will disappear the minute we move to a cashless society. The sooner the better.

I don't want a cashless society! We have always had cash and should not have to lose it just because of criminals that to a large degree are being allowed to get away with it.
