Which celebrity would you like as a close friend?

Mine would be Ben Fogle. I love his series BF New lives in the wild. He comes across as such a caring, compassionate and down to earth person. He’s a great listener and loves to hear real people’s life stories. He also looks like he gives great hugs!

We are all so different.
He really irritates me.
I’m sure he’s lovely but he does go on a bit.

I’ve seen Boris twice, at a young conservatives conference and being interviewed opposite Wimbledon train station. Came across as a self important arse at the latter and mad as a box of frogs in former.

Mary Beard. I’ve met her a couple of times at events and she’s so gracious and lovely but I honestly fall to pieces around her, she’s my favourite academic (and I’m not even a classics lecturer!)
