Noisy bars and live music

H1ppychicken · Yesterday 20:08

Sadness - other people’s I mean - find it hard to even watch the news…. and shops (apart from food), just have no interest in shopping at all..

properidiot · Yesterday 20:09

I avoid lots of things:

Food I don't like - why did I used to eat things I didn't like?
High heels
My sister
Comedians - modern ones - they are just not funny
Saying yes to things I don't want to do.
Caffeine
Setting my alarm - unless it's to catch an early flight to go on holiday!

MissyB1 · Yesterday 20:09

Long haul flights
Night driving
Loud places
Big crowds

Sex

Beer gardens on sunny days. Just can’t be doing with pissed up twats being loud and ruining it for everyone else.

Found myself huffing to myself as I passed a loud pub on my dog walk tonight and I wasn’t even planning on going in 😂

dailyconniptions · Yesterday 20:10

People, socialising, men, loud toddlers.

Beyondamountainandoverthesea · Yesterday 20:11

The news - ignorance really is bliss.

Cheap clothes that look crap and wear badly - I now buy less but better quality.

Late nights out - prefer to be in bed by 9pm as an early riser.

Work nights out - I don't want to socialise with the people I work with all day and don't particularly like.

Sugary food
Late nights
Staying overnight with friends
Noisy restaurants
Sponsoring people for their hobbies
Food festivals

freshstartdreamer · Yesterday 20:11

Also large supermarkets. Too much traffic, too many idiots who can’t drive in the car park, takes too long to get in and out the store. Slow walkers everywhere. Just takes too long and I can’t be arsed.

Driving at night
People
Crowds
Saying yes

RinielUrban · Yesterday 20:13

Motorways, noise, people, caring what other people think, social media.

Christmashope19 · Yesterday 20:14

Driving!

Dontbeme · Yesterday 20:21

Anywhere noisy or crowded
Spicy food
Any media with gore, sex or violence

I'm looking for peace and quiet after a lifetime of hurt. Happiest in nature, with predictable books and calm.

Middletoleft · Yesterday 20:26

Noise, generally but loud music in shops drives me out rather than stop to browse and buy.

Worst are squealing kids - what is it with kids and their non parenting parents in waiting rooms or other enclosed areas (twice this week and there was nothing the matter with either child).

All of these!

People I dislike.

I was going to say “people,” but that’s not fair. There are kind, funny, sweet, interesting people out there. And there are good people who need and deserve love and support.

But my tolerance for selfishness, cruelty, spite, nosiness, etc, is non-existent. I am far less bothered about offending people. I keep the majority of people at arm’s length until I am sure I want them in my life, and I no longer give a shit if they are offended. I don’t need or want some attention-seeking show off with main character syndrome talking at me about themselves and their achievements.

Leaving the house
Kneeling
The News

Kneenightmare · Yesterday 20:55

Love the answer discomfort! Definitely agree.
Also knees - they suddenly impact everything- stairs/hills/ getting off the floor/ out of the bath.
Love getting together with friends and family but can’t be bothered with anyone else. Hate parties and making small talk with people you only sort of know.
Also driving, all driving but particularly at night.

BlusteryLake · Yesterday 21:00

Gratuitous violence as "entertainment" in films, TV and books.

Clipperchill · Yesterday 21:02

People, shopping, driving at night, people, sleeping in beds other than my own, having guests stay overnight, small talk, hairdressers, men, oh and people.

Laiste · Yesterday 21:04

(inlaws 'big jolly family gathering' 😩
