What do you find yourself avoiding more as you get older?

Going out in the evenings. Give me a matinee / pub lunch anytime over evening things. My sleep is terrible and I want to go to bed early. I am starting to say no more now, I always dread it when I have plans!

People!

People and crowds in noisy places , going 'out out' in general , i have gone from never in to not very often at all out.
Shopping malls and generic shops ,but i do love a nice interiors/candles etc shop , book shop , garden centre when in the mood.
Clothes shops .
Late nights when i do have a rare night out ,ideally home by 9 at the latest.
Any holiday longer than 4 days , i love my comfortable home and bed more.
Supermarkets.
Other peoples dramas.

• Doing nothing when others take advantage (I’m striking back now litigiously)

People and more people. Did I mention people? The only people I do like tho are cats.

I’m late 40’s. I sat on the floor a while back and it was hard work getting up. Realised I hadn’t done that much since the kids were little - they’re early 20’s now. I used to watch tv sat on the floor for most of my teens.
so I’ve made a conscious effort to sit on the floor for a bit every day - after a couple if weeks I could spring up good as new! Give it a try! Use if or loose it.

Otherwise, people, loud places, driving at night.

I’m feeling like that too. Including my husband, I used to quite like him but I’m bored now. (Equally, I’m sure I’m a bore too, but I don’t care.)

pretty much nails it. I mostly say no nicely.

Smart clothing with proper waistbands and shoes without memory foam
Work social events - please may I never have to do another darts / crazy golf / arcade games / table tennis evening / eat the crap pizzas and nibbles that come with them. Quite happy to socialise for a drink / proper restaurant but it just doesn’t happen anymore….

Train stations full of tourists, fellow commuters are OK

Denture welding material .

Discomfort. Whether its the exhaustion of an early flight, packed transport where I have to stand, or an event where there's nowhere to sit if I feel like it.
