Going out at night (our city centre is akin to the wild west at night)

Given a chance, I wouldn’t ski again.
Too dangerous.
And I’m not a scaredy-cat!

People not just in crowds.
Going out in the evening.
The news, politics etc. Used to be such an activist, just don't care any more.
Pubs
Live music, used to love live bands but it's all way too loud for me now.
Going on holiday, cannot be arsed!
Volunteering. I've done my share.

People. Neighbours, work colleagues and relations especially.

Driving at night. I find new car headlights dazzling.

Gatherings and people. I've been like that my whole life really, but now I won't let anyone pressure me into mixing. I just cannot be bothered. I am not interested in having dreary conversations.

Late nights

Yep, another vote for 'people' , any drama to do with work, any where busy or enclosed, like big shopping centres.

Going out after dark. Thanks for turning the streetlights down / off council. No more walking to evening gym classes for me.

Driving at night. I can't bear the stupid bright LEDs on the huge cars trying to burn my retinas out. I lose my car space if I go out after about 8pm too. So I don't go out.

Crowds....coming from someone who spent their life at concerts and raves when they were younger...
Shops.....hate shopping...much prefer online!

I love people but like some downtime.
I haven’t travelled abroad since 2019, not bothered. I’m not avoiding it as such.

Another vote for people!

I absolutely love people but I avoid draining people like the absolute plague these days. Interesting, funny, uplifting people, people who have lived, people with enough bad stuff to know that life is full of need to make lemonade and the willingness to make some are life blood.

Men - though I have been with current one for 36 years. I won't be replacing him.
I agree re loud pubs - I have great friends and want to hear them.
Dressing glamorously - can't be arsed.
Work - I've took early retirement. Won't be working again unless I find myself single and have to. . If I do it won't be a bloody "worthy" type job.
I do volunteer though 2 days a week.
Complicated/expensive skin care - my skins never been better with Simple wash and Baby Aveeno.
Mascara and lipstick - less is definitely more re makeup, and I've ditched these.

Alcohol, crowds, risky situations, saying yes to things I don’t want to do (even in work), people pleasing, travelling from anywhere other than my very local airport, giving fucks

People I have to make an effort with.
