The New York Times is reporting that Iran have re-opened the Straits of Hormuz. Perhaps things will calm when ships have free passage again. Oil price is falling.

Apparently normally they have, you guessed it six weeks supply, so not time to panic yet. Of course if that doesn't get replenished it will be a problem.

Ok, but expecting no consequences is not realistic- I doubt the civilians in the Middle East are personally wanting war. Jet fuel is minor in comparison to the deaths others are facing.

And many cruise passengers fly out to join their ships, they don’t all sail from Southampton!

The fuel shortage is already excluded - it excludes things that are directly or indirectly as a result of war. They have said today that this comes under that heading.

It’s not a new thing. And it’s not them making it hard for customers. When you buy a policy, it will be clear that it’s excluded
