I think any man who has a fake tan deserves to be ridiculed. Surely his friends are going to take the piss anyway. If his grandma's comments annoy him he can tell her himself, doesn't need mummy to do it for him.

I realise he’s a grown man but I think a lot of adults do want to avoid having a go at their grandparents, to be honest. I think most of us do feel much less comfortable saying saying “Oh, do shut up, you’re being tedious” to our grandparents than we would to our own parents.
