I can't even imagine!
The womam I'd worked with (no. 3) was such a quiet, sweet woman who wouldn't say boo to a goose.
Thats partly why I was so shocked I think?

Low self esteem 🙃

I can name at least 2 'happily' married men in my industry who have previously tried to sleep with a colleague whilst away at conferences. Giving her their room number in the hotel and waiting upstairs for her. And not just once. Both still married and post all over social media how happy they are.

I had a friend whose goddaughter turned out to be her husbands daughter.

Oh wow, the husband and AP here are a special class of nasty 😲

I kind of like the idea that somewhere there is a little female commune with their house husband pottering around emptying the bins, cutting the grass and providing his services when required 😂

I'm laughing hard at this. When we were younger, unmarried with no kids, my mate & I used to plan our ideal living situation: a commune in the forest in a beautiful, big house, where we'd only invite fabulous women to live (crucially they couldn't be better looking than us 🤣) and we'd have young studs come once or twice a week to 'service ' us all. 😀 😂

We had a whole list of fellow housemates and servicers- famous folk, local hotties, the lot!🤣😅😂

Sounds bloody marvellous.

my mums famous home made steak pie that she’s often asked to bring to extended family gatherings is actually from the local butchers. She buys it and very carefully transfers it to her own pie dishes 😂

I bet he'd make it straight into her pie dishes if she asked him/her.

I think (from biology long ago) that type O is recessive? But much more common? So if person 1 has type O and person 2 has type A, then the child would have type A?

I am AB (mum and dad had A/B) and DH is O, so I think my DC will either be A or B.

if that makes sense!

Yeah I think that's it! Sounds familiar. I hope I'm not o neg as I'd feel more guilty for not donating.

Moved to the island? What island?

Probably the Isle of Wight, this sort of stuff and inbreeding is rife there.

People over the road run a prostitution racket for the over 65s from their garage.

Are the prostitutes over 65 or the clients? Is it exclusively for over 65’s? Sorry I’m nosey

SplendidUtterly · 09/04/2026 13:20

Some of these are REALLY juicy! 😱

Is the headteacher sexy? Whats the husband like?

Maybe she gets off on the head being in a position of power 🤔

The headteacher isn't sexy at all, though I believe he is very charismatic (my kids don't go to that school so I don't know). Her DH is lovely and was very good looking, but has now gone bald, which unfortunately doesn't suit him that well.

Yeah @LBFseBrom we need more details to sufficiently judge them

That'll be it, it'll be the baldness 🤭🤭

I saw a school mums husband hugging another mum a few streets away from school after the morning drop off. It was a proper embrace. They don’t know I saw them. I feel awful.

Eww that's seedy. Hitting on the nursery staff while your child is right there?!

I know right - there is yuck but that is extra yuck when it’s literally a setting where your child is placed.

How awkward.

I am always amazed by men’s decision trees - they seem to be always dick-led.

Like @03cg73 mum and her famous pie, my friend’s legendary lasagna is M&S with extra cheese sauce and grated cheese.

I’m the only one who knows. I saw the empty packets hidden when we went round for lunch and I was helping her. We laugh when people ask for her recipe 😁

I had a restaurant customer that loved our lasagna and also our chicken pie. She used to drop off her own lasagna dish and pie plate, get us to make them but not bake them, then she took them home and popped them in oven so they were cooking in her dishes when her guests would be there. When I sold the restaurant, found out she came in and expected the same thing done, and they refused.

Sorry this one just doesn’t sound plausible to me. An ostensibly straight guy had an outdoor trans-threesome at a garden party?

Graham Norton "the difference between a straight man and a gay man...5 pints" I've known a couple of very retro guys try it. A bloke I work with is very openly gay and has a couple of married male visitors.

LoudBlueSeal · 09/04/2026 13:39

My DM is my stepdad’s third wife. He had an affair with his 2nd wife while still married to the 1st wife . The affair produced a baby, and even though it was the 1980s and he went on to marry the mother and have more children together, they adopted the child out. Why? They thought it would look bad for their careers if there was proof they were sleeping together when he was married. None of my step-siblings know. The adopted out child is a full sibling to his 2nd marriage children, and a half sibling to his 1st marriage children. One day someone will do a dna test on Ancestry and it will blow up in his face. Mum got drunk and told me.

101Alsatians · 09/04/2026 13:41

I know for a fact that a recently engaged man is still married to his first wife and is hoping to pull of a sneaky divorce before their wedding in 2027.

BoogieTownTop · 09/04/2026 07:53

Brilliant!!

The pie story reminds me of a very early episode of Come Dine With Me where the hostess had arranged with the local gastro pub to deliver each course to her kitchen window during the evening.

Ultravox · 09/04/2026 13:44

My dad’s brother is married to Betty and they have 2 kids in their 40s who don’t know that their dad was married before or that he had 2 kids that he has never seen since he left their mum for Betty.

I was only a child when it happened but I remember his first family as the kids were older than me and I idolised one of them. Now I’m an adult it really hits home what he did and actually how all the family treated the first family. Really shocking behaviour. It’s bound to all come out one day.

About 15 years ago a man I work with asked me straight out if I would have an affair with him. He said it was just sex, he wasn't interested meeting my children (I was recently divorced) and that he would never leave his wife.
I, politely as possible, turned him down, saying that I wasn't interested. I had to be careful in my refusal as it's a small business where I work and he could have made life very awkward for me.
It was very odd at work for several years and I was super careful to make sure I never seemed to 'invite' him in any way. The job suited (and continues to suit me life so I've stayed) so i didn't want to leave.

Three years ago he became my boss and is a very good boss. We work well together and there is zero tension between us. I am still careful though.
I know his wife and have never said anything to her and I have never told my partner about his approach because I didn't want them to worry/stress unnecessarily and it happened several years before I met them.
I've not told this to a single person before....so why not post on a public website viewable by anyone 😂

A housemate from uni is still with the same boyfriend she had when I knew her. Really sweet guy. We’re now nearing 40. She’d put off having kids for ages when a few years ago he told her he really wanted kids and if she didn’t he’d like to move on and find someone who did. So she said ok let’s try for a baby.

Unbeknownst to him she continued to take the pill while “trying” for several years. Then pretended she couldn’t face IVF and cried it was probably all her fault because she’d had an eating disorder and he felt too bad to push it. So they’ve now given up. I feel so bad for him.

I think he deserves to know the truth. He's giving up his dream for someone who's been dishonest.

This is my favourite ❤️

Me too! It's such a funny deception. And which of us hasn't bought forbidden food, wolfed it down in secret and hidden the packaging at the bottom of the bin. Or is that just me and pizza guy?

NunsOnTheRum · 09/04/2026 13:47

PrettyPickle · 09/04/2026 12:38

Wow, but I suppose sex before marriage was not allowed in those days! Did she never twig herself do you think?

I don’t know whether it was a case of she never twigged her whole life or rather she didn’t want to publicly out her beloved parents. She was born in the late 1940s when sex before marriage was taboo.
