Are you concerned that Trump has totally lost his marbles?

Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP

What trump has shown the world is that America has no functioning / fit for purpose system in place that can act if a president loses their fucking marbles.

That is worrying.

They are probably in padded cells for their own safety and that of society.

I can’t see how the people around him let this happen.

Because he's their route into power and they know as long as they suck up to him they get a slice. They don't need to be smart, to have a track record or to have any relevant experience in what they are doing. They just have to suck up to him. Until he has a tantrum and fires them when something goes wrong.

Thedogscollar · 05/04/2026 15:15

I cannot fathom for the life of me why NOBODY in his administration isn't saying what the fuck is going on?
These are not the ramblings of a sound mind.
Somebody, anybody needs to step in now.

They’ll get fired

They’re the thick ones. Like I said, I am gloves off now. This isn’t a political difference of opinion. The stakes are higher. The president of the USA is severely mentally incapacitated, the decline is accelerating and if you refuse to or cannot see it, you’re simply stupid.

I seriously wonder whether he has GPI - 3rd stage syphilis.

I thought this won the internet today.

zantez · 05/04/2026 16:55

I assume that US anti terrorism intelligence is working overtime right now. The retaliation might happen but not necessarily in the Middle East itself.

Someone please tell me that there are several, many, lots of steps to go through before the nuclear option is selected. Or are those who might share the responsibility around the button already the sycophants surrounding him now. That's terrifying.

I have no words left to describe this specimen of a human being. It's all been said, but nothing is being done is it?

I’m reading these statements in the voice of Grandpa Simpson, makes it about 1% less worrying

But this comes a close second.

Walkaround · 05/04/2026 16:56

Unfortunately, too many American voters seem to confuse aggressive and unstable behaviour for good leadership skills rather than assessing it to be the result of a personality disorder combined with dementia and a lifetime of corrupt business practices.

Patriots would accept this. A few noble republicans have. ‘Country before party and party before self’ should be the mantra of a public servant. The facilitators of his madness are as complicit.

Yabu to suggest this is anything new.
He's been a deranged lunatic, proven sexual abuser and lying crook since long before his first term in office.

This!

The tariffs were declared illegal, and there is the 25th Amendment? He joked about the 25th Amendment recently in a press conference.

sidebirds · 05/04/2026 16:07

Whilst the foul language is unstatesmanlike and an unfortunate example of the continuing decline in standards in the West, President Trump is to be admired for the efforts, thus far, against a genocidal regime. The USA needs to remove it entirely, however. The President is also to be admired for putting the interests of his own people first.

That would be his own people he had killed by ICE then??

Trump has a button for Diet Coke in the Oval Office. We'd better hope it's that one he presses, not the other.

Orangemintcream · 05/04/2026 16:34

He’s always been nuts but recently he is deeply unhinged and deteriorating.

I don’t know what it will take for him to be declared mentally unfit.

Crashing the world economy? Dropping a nuke ?

Its really frightening.

I think it suits some of those around him to keep him in power. It is obviously pretty easy to manipulate him by playing to his ego.

Cyclebabble · 05/04/2026 17:00

The hard fact we all struggle to accept is that the leader of the world's greatest power and our strongest ally is actually power crazed and of questionable mental health. As a result, almost anything is possible. The war in Iran is ill conceived with no clear aims and so far has backfired significantly with oil prices spiralling. However, his support base still remains high with a core support well of about 1/3rd of the US electorate, so I do not think he will be disappearing anytime soon.

BlusteryLake · 05/04/2026 15:29

This is what happens when people with no political experience are allowed into top politics jobs. Business and politics simply don't work in the same way, and you can't apply to same ways of working. Trump is dangerously unhinged.

Not to mention that he wasn't good at business either.

MannequinsArePeopleToo · 05/04/2026 17:02

I don't think he's demented or crazy.
I do, however, believe he's a nasty old cunt and I hope the next try doesn't miss.

Onebattleafteramother · 05/04/2026 17:04

Ahhh I remember the good old days in the 2000s when we only had a slightly (?) deranged, imbecilic, puppet in the White House rampaging round the middle east starting an illegal war that we got dragged into. Remember back then, we were all like, well thank fuck that's all over. How innocent we were.

Halcion times.

They're not. Because Homeland Security, the FBI, the CIA and cybersecurity departments are run by clowns and have been completely hollowed out of expertise and knowledge under his administration.

This is just politics, this is the way ordinary people talk, he is playing to the (his?) gallery, this is just an extension of things politicians do all the time to appear relatable to ordinary people, think the Tory guy who always got photographed with a pint, and claimed he could drink ten pints, Sunak with the borrowed car filling up (obviously in his real world the staff fill the much bigger more expensive car) the Milliband guy with the bacon butty trying to chew properly, it is all just a clown show, this show has very real very serious consequences though.
