And can you imagine the fallout when American service people get captured. Injured or killed because Trump has shouted to the world that they will be on a bombing mission 8pm Tuesday?

It's not remotely as simple as that. Obama had 72 days where the Democrats could have codified Roe. He would have needed 60 Democratic votes for a supermajority and it wasn't a guaranteed outcome. They were also trying desperately to get the ACA through at the time.

I really hate to disagree about this, but Blair, though loathsome in many ways, emphatically did not start the Iraq war; this might be because the cause of the war was the destruction of the Twin Towers, which were in New York not London. The Iraq war was one of the many about which Trump claims NATO and his European allies "didn't support the US" – lying gink that he is.
