Having children is the quickest way to ruin your life.

People who let dogs sleep in their beds have weird standards of hygiene.

This is us 😂 and yes you’re probably right. In our defence our two are only tiny (3kg each). But me and DH often laugh about how our hygiene standards have slipped since we got them .

TunafishSandwich · 18/03/2026 02:59

The “sleek hair pulled back in an ultra-tight ponytail” hairstyle looks absolutely ridiculous on most women - particularly if they have a round face and aren’t naturally very skinny.

What are you basing that on.

Being widely travelled, with an eye for beauty.

dayslikethese1 · 18/03/2026 03:13

I'm sort of sick of hearing about how uniquely terrible everything is for Gen Z and they can't possibly be expected to cope with anything. No-one gave a shit about millenials, everyone just called us entitled and told us to stop buying avocados and work harder, which we did for the most part.

ChikinLikin · 18/03/2026 03:13

It's tiresome to posts memes and gifs on here, or on a whatsapp group.

PumpkinPieAlibi · 18/03/2026 03:24

Women can be the biggest misogynists.

As evidenced on here, all the time.

PumpkinPieAlibi · 18/03/2026 03:31

Not everything is due to perimenopause.

Of course hormonal changes are tough - I have PCOS so I know a thing or two about hormonal imbalances - but constantly blaming one's behaviour on hormones just shows a lack of accountability.

We wouldn't excuse men for being even more violent if we found out they had higher than normal testosterone levels (nor should we) and it goes both ways.

ChikinLikin · 18/03/2026 03:37

Anyone who drives a massive, heavy 4x4 in town is a selfish, wanky tosser. They should all be rounded up into a chain gang and forced to repair the potholes.

Sudagame · 18/03/2026 03:57

People who dive across a cafe after watching you like hawks waiting to pounce and ask you if you are leaving the second you put a hand near your bag or coat or eat your last morsel are twats. Of course I will now have to stay at this table till one of us dies 😬

Strawberrryfields · 18/03/2026 04:10

The twee mum culture around ‘a cuppa and a yummy cake’ or ‘a hot drink and a sweet treat’ is lame.

2021x · 18/03/2026 04:32

Perimenopause is just another way of marketing more products and services to women.

Just because people straight talkers does not mean they are on the autistic spectrum. Same with not getting straight A’s at school it’s not always a learning difficulty.

Your insecurities are just making rich men richer.

No one should be stopped from having kids but no one is entitled to have children.

This made me laugh. I remember from around 15 years ago when all the news articles came out about how millennials couldn’t afford houses etc due to avocado brunches! I agree there wasn't as much kindness and empathy as there is today.

SatinPajamas · 18/03/2026 05:25

Mum speak is so silly and irritating. All the moaning about "the trenches" "developmental leaps" "sunshine phases" and any mention the wonder weeks to explain completely normal baby/toddler behaving is fucking irritating, to the point I found mum groups insufferable and quit them all by the time my baby was 4 months old.

I also agree with your thoughts on perimenopause. It’s great that there is a national conversation around this but I feel it has become another industry to be monetised - I was surprised by the number of books, magazines, and influencers or Celebs using it to enhance their visibility and as a USP.

You should have kept that one to yourself.

Male doctors telling teenage girls that it's normal to be doubled over with excruciating period pain.
I was one of those teenage girls.

If he had said that to my daughter I wouldn't have hesitated to say something to him. 😡

Also?

Anyone being a dick will get reported to my pals mnhq - this is a thread to bash men and other annoying members of the public - not to shame mums or children! x

Anyone who thinks MNHQ are our “pals” is delusional. Like those people who talk about “Justine” like she’s their mate from Zumba who runs the WhatsApp group as a favour.

Anyone who expects unconditional woman to woman support does more harm than good.

this.

anyone who downplays the impact of undiagnosed ND on adults is a complete dick.

anyone who says “at least x % of all those diagnosed with adhd/autism/pda don’t have anything wrong with them that wouldn’t be cured by decent parenting” is a dick

anyone who says “there wasn’t all these ND children back in my day” is a dick

anyone who moans about any individual having a BB and asking them why they got it is a dick

anyone who starts a thread specifically to bash a group of people, such as specifically men, is a dick
