Is it normal to burp loudly in a yoga class??

Just done a yoga class with about 8 women and one man. As I was rolling up out of my spinal roll I hear this giant, very loud, very intentional burp coming from across the room! I smiled expecting everyone to laugh or look a bit shocked, and the person to say ‘oops I’m so sorry’ or ‘excuse me’ or something, but everyone just carried on as though it was totally normal..did not even acknowledge it! I’m pretty sure it was the man, which for some reason, annoyed me a bit. Just made me think, god another entitled, arrogant man. I don’t think I’d have felt that way if it had been a woman. He also breathed SO loudly. I get in yoga some people like to deep breathe but it really does not need to be so loud. I’ve done quite a lot of various different yoga classes over the years and I’ve never heard anyone burp like this. Is this normal??

I was once doing yoga alone, in my garden, and after a certain pose I relaxed and let out the longest pump I have ever know. It just kept coming out of me and I remember this whole narrative in my head of "wow, this is long. It's still going. This is taking quite some time".
There was no control or pressure it just sort of released out of the depths of me.
It was an interesting experience but, one that has also put me off attending group classes😁

I haven’t farted yet in my beginners yoga class.

But I once did a series of continuous farts in an adult dance class in a pose that put pressure on my insides! It was mortifying 😂. I think I whispered ‘oops’. Thankfully they were not the smelly kind.

I know it's not the same thing but I had a serious case of very noisy wind after a curry. I've never had such uncontrollable wjnd in my life. Luckily I was at home or I'd have never lived it down

Sounds gross. Glad I don’t go to yoga classes. Fancy not even saying excuse me.

I was considering joining a yoga class but definitely won't after reading this thread!
