If you hope it reaches national news outlets why won’t you name the pharmacy on here? You keep avoiding the question and it makes the whole thing sound fake.

I really want to. But if i do then they might be aware.
I want them to be held accountable and it is high lighted soon.
It is 3rd or 4th on google of private 'skinny jabs'

Do i hope this reaches national news outlets..o yes.

Edited

So you've named and shamed the provider to these bodies

and yet you still won't name them here??

right

Branleuse · 11/03/2026 17:17

It's a non story until she gets it actually delivered in hand.
Loads of scam websites willing to take your money.

Superdrug or boots? I highly doubt it.

SilenceInside · 11/03/2026 17:19

Why wouldn't you want them to be aware? That makes no sense. They need to be told that you are reporting them to the relevant regulatory bodies, that way they may change their processes before they get inspected. Surely that's the outcome that you want? Not telling them just delays any change and improvement.

If you've fully paid up and been approved by a prescriber, withought having to evidence your weight and hight, then you absolutly need to report the pharmacy.

And I'm a currrent mj user.

21ZIGGY · 11/03/2026 17:19

I haven't read the full thread and i'm sure i'm repeating many others but why do you care.

Only people who haven't been fat want to stop this and get annoyed about it.

FreshInks · 11/03/2026 17:23

This is the biggest load of BS I’ve read in a while.

Puppylucky · 11/03/2026 17:23

Enyastar · 11/03/2026 15:24

Ive done and passed all stages..i just needed to give my card details.

That's not the end of it. You pay and then your order is reviewed. If you are rejected - which you will be- your money is refunded.

Nanda66 · 11/03/2026 17:24

I won’t believe it until you name the provider, and I can’t understand how you would be paying so much. However if it is true then you are right to highlight it and report it. But I still don’t believe it is with a reputable provider.

Until they land on my doorstep i do not hae a correct 'paper trail' or even evidence. But considering ive just had notification of dispatch.
One will see.

To all the abusive posters, its more than imteresting. Most reactions are not normal.
I really do think there is more going on in this industry than meets the eye.

This. Your money will be refunded. But I actually don’t believe a word you’ve said.

If you’re doing some sort of expose on some dodgy WLI company, I really don’t understand why you’ve decided to come on Mumsnet first. Surely your greatest weapon is surprise… and fear. Fear and surprise… And efficiency: ruthless efficiency.

I’ll come in again.

Avantiagain · 11/03/2026 17:31

"Am i a sports journalist...yes i am."

Of course you are

SilenceInside · 11/03/2026 17:31

Of course there’s evidence. There’ll be order info on your online account with this pharmacy, showing the medication and the dose you ordered, as well as the (exorbitant) price you were charged.

Motnight · 11/03/2026 17:32

Looking forward to reading your story in the Daily Mail, Op.

Wow, a sports journalist and you work in the “health industry.” It’s a wonder you have the time to post on Mumsnet with two careers on the go.

I know the state of journalism has declined in recent years, but I didn’t realise they hired people who can’t even grasp the most basic of grammar and punctuation.

O i and others have created the fear. But from what i can see the arrogance in these companies is now 'all consuming'. Give it 6 months....

No emails. How odd.

SilenceInside · 11/03/2026 17:34

@Enyastar are you quite alright? You sound a bit wound up about this. For someone who is a journalist you sound a lot like an activist/campaigner.

OP, how is having Botox every 6 months any different to the weight loss jabs?

It’s the bare minimum we can expect of a so-called journalist, is it not?
