Nigel Farage is flying more than 3,000 miles to speak at a pro-Trump U.S. think tank.

For around 12 hours’ work this Saturday the Reform UK leader is expected to collect £27,856.88 from the Club for Growth, a Washington-based anti-tax lobby group that has pledged to work closely with Donald Trump ahead of the 2026 U.S. midterms.

This group helped raise £120m for Republican candidates in the 2024 election.

So while people in Clacton deal with rising costs, poverty and cuts Farage is being paid the equivalent of many people’s yearly salary to give a single speech in America.

So you believe that the issues he talks about are made up and don"t really affect people? That was the mistake made by the London bubble politicians over Brexit, and we know how that worked out?

His actual job is to get Brexit and then a Reform government, lets face it he is the most successful politician out there by a long way.

A representative sample is as it sounds. They interviewed 1,000 people chosen to be relatively typical of the population as a whole. It’s a smallish sample and likely is not representative of Clacton at all. Clacton has very low levels of educational qualifications, lots of entrenched disadvantage, is extremely white and has a population of advanced age …

It can be representative of the general UK population, but fuck knows how many in Clacton are willing to vote for Farridge again.

The polls are usually correct. They were in 2024 and before the local elections this year.
