To think it is inappropriate for a teach to have big fake boobs?

OonaStubbs · 05/03/2026 18:16

I picked my niece up from school today and saw her with my own eyes, my sister and her husband have spoken about her in the past. IABU to think this is appropriate in a school with impressionable young children?

“The past is a foreign country; they do things differently there.”

What is the actual point of your comments?
To highlight teenage boys look a boobs? Not the point of thread at all but okay 🤷‍♀️

Naïve remark. Have you ever met any teenage boys?

Still doesn’t mean breast size is an indicator of teaching ability.

Clearly the OP won't be back now that everybody has (rightly) told her how completely and utterly judgemental she is.

I had a boob job four years ago, because I lost too much weight after a breakup and ended up with what looked like two deflated balloons - I did it for me and to improve my confidence, not to entice men, or because I'm vain or superficial.

I might not work with kids but I do work in a professional career and have a PhD... luckily those around me care about my ability to do my job, rather than the size and shape of my breasts!

I had an ex who had a boob job. Trust me, she was the gayest woman I ever was with. The last thing she wanted was to attract a man. I asked her when she got them done and she wanted to be more proportional. She had very wide hips and originally none existent top. She did it for her confidence.

As someone who went to an "all boys" grammar school, 16 year old me would beg to differ...😀

This wins the sexist misogynist twat post of the day award. 🥇

Ilovelurchers · 30/03/2026 19:42

Who are the 9% of people who thinks OP has a point? Almost one in ten readers think teachers need to be small breasted?

Ilovelurchers · 30/03/2026 19:48

OP, do you object to fake boobs in all people? Moms, for example? As they are the main role models for their kids.

If you do, at least your argument makes sense (tho it's a weird stance to adopt in my opinion).

Wouldn't have a boob job myself, but I find it impossible to care if others choose one. It's harms nobody.

Someone starts a pearl clutching "won't someone think of the children" thread about the supposedly inappropriate physical appearance of a teacher and I'm the misogynist ?

Because teachers are supposed to be above all that.

Who says? Since when does plastic in your body make you a less worthwhile teacher? So she was great until last summer then god breast implants and she's some sort of disgrace? Idiots the lot of you.

I feel very sorry for the children you come in contact with, imagine your niece thinking her worth is dependent on whether or nice she chooses to change her body. She wants to be a teacher but Auntie Dickhead says I'll be shit at it because I want bigger tits.

maxslice · 31/03/2026 19:06

“Because teachers are supposed to be above all that” Firstly, they are smart enough to know that boob size has no impact on teaching ability, and secondly, they don’t get paid nearly enough to bother to aspire to your misguidedly narrow aesthetic standards. One goal of education is to teach students critical thinking. Weighing arguments, examining evidence, and verifying facts. Then making their own decisions. In no way will boob size impair the discernment of a student who is capable of critical thinking.

OonaStubbs · 31/03/2026 19:26

Why is my aesthetic standard "narrow minded" but the standard that finds women attractive if they have big fake boobs is not?

Teachers are clearly paid enough for this teacher to afford a boob job.

Nobody said that that was the standard - plenty of women don't have fake boobs and men still find them incredibly attractive (both celebrities and ordinary women)

Also my boob job was £6495, hardly a massive sum for someone on a decent teaching salary

Bigcat25 · 31/03/2026 19:35

You really focus on how you think her operation is inappropriate, without acknowledging that your fixation on her bust and belief that it's ok for you to have strong, relevant opinions about it is even more inappropriate.

OonaStubbs · 31/03/2026 19:39

I am not "fixated on her bust" I just think that having big fake boobs is inappropriate in an educational environment. Teachers should be teaching young children that looks don't matter, it is what is inside what counts.

Teaching used to be a vocation. I cannot imagine much of a crossover between a woman who aspires to educate and inspire young minds, and a woman who aspires to have massive boobs.

SleeplessInWherever · 31/03/2026 19:39

I don’t know why you even have an “aesthetic standard,” I couldn’t give a single shit about other women’s looks, and I certainly don’t hold them to some sort of ideal that I’ve made up.

Maybe try just minding your own business

You do seem a bit fixated to be honest. What is she wearing that makes this such an issue?

What evidence do you have that this teacher is teaching children that looks are the only thing that matters?

Is your niece unhappy with the teacher?

lev2002 · 31/03/2026 19:50

You don't say what age your niece is but you say "young children". Neither of my young children would notice or even think about this. More over my children have no idea what breast implants are and I'm not sure why they should?
Either way - I have a breast augmentation and I work in a professional field. Admittedly they aren't massively big so no one would really know, they were to give me confidence post pregnancies when my body changed. I did this for me, not to be attractive to men. I think that's a really shallow point of view to have.

As for the teacher in question, id say the implants aren't really the issue. It's more how she's dressing them? If she's showing too much flesh id agree that's an issue but that would be regardless of the size! Someone appropriately dressed with bigger boobs, the only issue I see is you all gawping at them!

She does not teach my niece she teaches another class.

Primary then, if she’s fully class based with the same children.

I can’t imagine your average 11 year old knows what breast implants are.

You absolutely are fixated on her bust, and quite frankly you're a pathetic, sad excuse for a woman.
How fucking dare you judge this woman, who has done nothing to draw your scorn, other than choose to look a certain way.

How do you know she hasn't had reconstructive surgery after breast cancer?
Or had her breasts removed and implants put in due to a BRCA gene?

You are a disgrace and mysogynist and your attitude absolutely sickens me.

maxslice · 31/03/2026 20:19

If the OP believes that teachers should be teaching students that “looks don’t matter” doesn’t that invalidate her insistence that big boobs DO matter? One could effectively argue that this particular teacher is demonstrating that her looks DONT matter. Except, apparently to the OP who must have been out sick the day that “looks don’t matter” was taught while she was in school.

maxslice · 31/03/2026 20:22

OP, do you have children of your own? No judgement, just curious.

LydiaFunnyGums · 31/03/2026 20:28

Oh OP have a word with yourself! Lots of ladies (from various backgrounds and profession’s) have fake boobs and it really has fuck all to do with you. It’s their choice, their bodies.
