To think it is inappropriate for a teach to have big fake boobs?

OonaStubbs · 05/03/2026 18:16

I picked my niece up from school today and saw her with my own eyes, my sister and her husband have spoken about her in the past. IABU to think this is appropriate in a school with impressionable young children?

IMO for a young woman to choose to have large fake boobs is a sign of vanity and superficiality. Neither of which are qualities becoming of a good teacher.

You really are just fucking insufferable!

How many times do those of us who are/have been teachers have to tell you that this is NOT AN ISSUE!

You really do sound like a horrible, judgmental woman.

It doesn't. The thread is about large FAKE boobs. No-one can help the size of their natural breasts but IMO for a young woman to choose to have large fake boobs is a sign of vanity and superficiality. Neither of which are qualities becoming of a good teacher. What example is she setting for the young girls in her care? And for that matter, the boys.

Jesus Christ !
Are you still actually harping on about this !!!
How does anyone know if they’re fake or real & the kids don’t give a fuck because they don’t notice !!!!!
And having fake boobs doesn’t mean you’re superficial & who cares if she is vain or not , IT DOES NOT AFFECT HER TEACHING SKILLS !!!!

Your internalised misogyny is so obvious.

I think you need some form of therapy.

I can assure you that primary age children won't even notice. Things they do notice, a quote from DS then 6: "Miss X likes coffee more than she likes wine."

Maybe teachers are in a bubble and don't realise themselves what makes a good teacher? Maybe it take someone looking in from outside the bubble to have an objective opinion? The education system is supposed to be run by the teachers for the public. Not run by the teachers for the teachers.

Her boobs are definitely fake and the kids have noticed.

Tell me how you know they're fake, and also how they affect her ability to teach. It's like I know a tattooist with lots of tattoos and piercings. My DC know him too. When they were little he answered their questions. If the boobs are actually fake, you can explain to your niece that getting boob implants is like getting your hair coloured, it's just a preference which affects absolutely nobody else.

Oh yes, you must be the enlightened one when it comes to teaching effectively.

Not trained professionals or Ofsted!

No, we know what being a good teacher involves. Very generally speaking - engagement and progress.

When OFSTED rock up, or there’s an assessment scrutiny, or a planning review, nobody checks how big your tits are.

HTH.

That they can make their own choices about how they want their body to look? That being a teacher/ doctor/ lawyer doesn't prevent you from having the boobs of your dreams? That if you work hard and earn money you can spend it on whatever you want, including a boob job if that's your thing? That professional women have lives and interests outside of just work and, idk, crochet and hill walking, or whatever you consider suitable hobbies for a school ma'am?

Yeah, that’s a pile of steaming shite, though, isn’t it? And you know it.

You really ought to stop staring at your niece’s teacher’s tits and discussing them with your family. It’s fucking creepy and weird.

I train teachers - that’s my job. I know what makes a good teacher and it’s not the size of her tits.

What a load of nonsense.

So what if a teacher is ‘vain’ or shows signs of ‘superficiality’? That doesn’t mean they aren’t also a good teacher. They aren’t qualities we screen for when recruiting trainee teachers.

Would you refer to a male teacher as vain or superficial if they had a hair transplant or bulked up at the gym?

I dye my hair, wear fake tan, have bright pink nails and have whitened my teeth. All of which could be considered vain or superficial- but so what? Doesn’t mean I’m not also good at my job.

Sadcafe · 17/03/2026 19:53

DD teaches primary, she has her hair dyed, recently had hair extensions, the kids noticed, she likes travelling abroad and, the worst, she does pole dancing, she’s clearly superficial and totally unsuitable to be a teacher, even though every school she’s taught at have stated how good she is.

janj52301 · 29/03/2026 21:57

this is similar to a post the other day about teachers having tattoos, I personally dislaike big boobs and tattoos but it's their bodies so they can do as they wish with them doesn't affect their teaching I assume

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 29/03/2026 22:01

40H and I've been working with children for nearly 20 years.Get over yourself.

mrsCtheRed · 29/03/2026 22:16

Unless the teacher is walking around topless, you're being absolutely ridiculous and quite frankly you need to get a life.

OonaStubbs · 29/03/2026 22:44

Why do people keep resurrecting this thread?

You have all made your feelings on the matter quite clear.

I haven't see the teacher in question in several weeks anyway.

Because you don't get to say when it's closed. And because, even though the majority are quite clearly saying YABU, you keep coming back to say that you're not.

It’s a shame you’re unable to support your opinion with anything other than ‘I’m entitled to my opinion’.

Not once have you been able to state why this is a problem.

OonaStubbs · 30/03/2026 00:03

I have stated several times that I think it sets a bad example when someone who is supposed to be a role model for young children feels the need to have big fake boobs.

What example? Do you object to teachers wearing make-up or nice clothes, or having their hair cut and coloured or their nails painted? These are all things that people do because they like how it makes them look and feel. There is nothing wrong with wanting to look and feel confident about yourself and for her that obviously means big boobs.
