Some of the Iranian protesters deaths were fake

So we heard 30,000 in the news but a lot of people are coming out saying that they were counted in the dead but didn’t die.

Seeing their name and face in the news.

Below are the videos they posted saying they are alive. It’s surreal.

So how many were actually killed, and can we trust any published number?

We need a bit more than a couple of TikTok vids

Ipendem · 04/03/2026 07:04

What do you want? News items were created about people who didn’t die.

Share the news items then, bit more credible than TikTok

'Not on my bingo card': Israeli goes viral after fake report of death at Iran protest

So a couple of tik tok influencers looking for clicks? This is now considered news?

Ipendem · 04/03/2026 07:10

It is and it’s also published in the news

On the one hand there is a lot of evidence that there was a massacre of tens of thousands of Iranians in January and February by their own regime.

On the other there's the Iranian regime that lies about everything for propaganda and TikTok videos..

GoldenRosebee · 04/03/2026 07:13

This publication previously claimed no women were r*ped on October 7 massacre. Not reliable source, isn't it?

CypressGrove · 04/03/2026 07:14

Well I'm certainly convinced. Turns out the regime only killed 29,999 protesters. I feel bad about thinking poorly of them.

Ipendem · 04/03/2026 07:15

Then get your phone out and google. There are loads of sites reporting on it. I can’t hand everything to you. Or even watch the video the woman posted herself

There may be a few Israeli people who are engaged with propaganda tactics but to claim the brutal crackdown and crimes against humanity did not happen- you’ve got to be extremely biased in favour of the regime or extremely naive.

…”According to US-based organisation HRANA (Human Rights Activists News Agency), at least 7,000 people have been confirmed killed in the January crackdown, with another 11,700 deaths under investigation, while other estimates from medics across the country say the death toll is in the tens of thousands. The HRANA has recorded more than 53,000 arrests, including hundreds of students.”

Testimony from medics, morgue and graveyard staff reveals huge state effort to conceal systematic killing of protesters

Even if the number isn’t right, it’s not as though 30,000 was fake!

CypressGrove · 04/03/2026 07:28

It's not even a fake death - just looks like a case of mistaken identity by the news channel reporting it.

Ipendem · 04/03/2026 07:29

Did you read the title? I said some of the deaths were fake.
So yes I’m still correct.
At least two women have caught themselves in the news being counted as dead.
How many don’t watch the news but have their image and name taken without knowing? You don’t think that’s strange

OP posts:
TorroFerney · 04/03/2026 07:29

What’s your acceptable number op ? If it’s 20,000 people is that ok? 10,000?

BunfightBetty · 04/03/2026 07:31

No surprise we have shills for the murderous regime among us.

somanychristmaslights · 04/03/2026 07:31

I’m sure when you’re counting the thousands massacred, the number might not be 100% accurate. Even when a tragedy happens here, the numbers can change. Not sure the point you’re trying to make? A few people were mistakenly counted. And??

I'm sorry but you can't possibly be this stupid - do you think there was a neat list of names being kept as people were killed. Some mix ups are to be expected.

Nevermind17 · 04/03/2026 07:38

The very idea that there are people out there using TikTok as a credible news source makes me feel like giving up on mankind.

Is it not more a thinly veiled anti Israel post? That’s what I’d assumed. I’ve not opened the link but is this an Israeli woman ?

Whatever it is, it's bloody shameful.

Secretseverywhere · 04/03/2026 07:52

I’ve read a few interesting articles about how we now live in a “post truth society” If you blur the line between fact, opinion and misinformation then power (to create a narrative) goes to those who hsve the wealth or the charisma to create spectacle.

It does sound a bit Orwellian but I think we see time and again how governments attempt to bullshit their way through situations with dubious interpretations of the truth just by lying and hoping it sticks long enough for the news cycle to move on.
