I read this ( not daily mail!) on MN -is this actually a true / statistical prediction?

I have never heard this before . I assume that this is not accurate at all .( also assume applying to uk) .

People are saying things about black and brown men without statistics. So you think you can do the same about white men.

But from a quick google 75pc of sex tourists come from western countries. Ie it is richer men exploiting women in poorer countries.

I do like to know the statistics about things like who was in the Rotherham rape gangs yes definitely.

I would think if they were tourists they would be from countries where people do go on holiday so that is likely to be wealthier western countries. What's the statistic of the percentage of white men that are sex tourists?

That's a man in general thing, colour of skin has nothing to do with it. 🙄 If a man's that way inclined, he'll be like that anyway whether white, black, brown!
As another white person, I also take public transport (daily) and often not many white people on there but why does it actually matter?! It honestly never occurs to me to be bothered, we're just all people going about our business!
What you've described of people with their phones on loudspeaker etc is others being a knob, nothing to do with culture. I've seen that plenty of times with white middle aged women like myself doing it, or teenagers/ young men.

Agree with this. In our care homes at the moment we have people aged 75 years plus. To help their memory, they are played music from their younger days, and tv programmes from the 60s and 70s, but they have carers who were born overseas (many of them very nice), but know nothing about those days in Britain, and don't really care.

These oaps are paying thousands for their care per week. Wouldn't it be better to attract more people who knew what the UK was like a few decades ago and pay them a couple of pounds per hour more?

Is that a care home issue prioritising profit over care of their residents though?

Yes, probably. I know someone who works there. It's a lovely place to work, but I just wondered if they could go the extra mile and bring in staff who had knowledge of the times when the patients were living their prime lives. Goodness knows they pay enough to stay there.

Failing that, perhaps provide courses for the staff to train in where they watch videos of Britain in the 60s,70s, and 80s.

This would help our nation in general if they provided these courses on a wider scale.

I refer many young people to volunteer in care homes and they wouldnt know what it was like a few decades ago either.

I agree though that shared experiences are important. Both ways. I think ethnic communities are good at fostering the community feel. And I think that, unless you’re part of a church, that perhaps it’s harder if youre white. (Anecdotal/ opinion . Rather than supported by stats that I’ve sourced.but could be)

How many men make up that 75%? And what percentage of white men overall are they. Then we would be able to judge whether these sex tourists are a comprehensive example of all white men.

Do they mean white English, like me, or are they including for example Eastern European white people as well? As something tells me a lot would have a problem with the latter as well.
