I read this ( not daily mail!) on MN -is this actually a true / statistical prediction?
I can send the link to the thread that stated this .
I have never heard this before . I assume that this is not accurate at all .( also assume applying to uk) .

Yes, I find this interesting too.
What do people such as the pp mean exactly by white?
Do they mean white English, like me, or are they including for example Eastern European white people as well? As something tells me a lot would have a problem with the latter as well.

Eastern Europeans are Christian, they're European. The software is almost the same.

Can you explain what you mean? I don't want to misinterpret but are you saying that Christianity isn't misogynistic? Or that Christian men don't commit abuse against women?

Pineneedlesincarpet · 14/02/2026 17:27

Why didn't you say you had nothing to back up your point in the first place? Time wasting is fun I suppose...

Sharing my opinion as is everyone else.
sharing my eyewitness testimony as is everyone else.

if we know that 82pc of the uk is white - a western country
and that 75pc of sex tourists come from the west then I think we can conclude that the majority of sex tourists are white.
(Plus add in USA 71pc white/ Europe 90-95pc white)

Do you remember some of the threads when families had welcomed Ukrainians into their homes and the ensuing culture clash? I found that 100pc fascinating.

You know what she is trying to say. Christian men can be those things obviously. But Christian or secular countries dont generally have sharia law which is a religious law and antithetical to women's rights.

Look at the US right now and the law changes that are appearing to be antithetical to women's rights. And that's very much coming from a white, Christian wing.

Yes of course. Which Catholic government in Europe in particular do you have greater concerns for the women under it than a theocracy such as Afghanistan or Iran?

SugarPuffSandwiches · 14/02/2026 17:57

Stepintotheunknown · 14/02/2026 15:20

I didn't say they look the same.

On the subject of David Lammy, he does not look like any of these but who has a passing resemblance from a distance

Kwasi kwarteng
Rishi Sunak
Boris Johnson

This thread has more important issues to discuss I am just surprised some people are so keen for some physical characteristics to be eliminated.

Yes you did. You said -

So you are more worried about American women than women under sharia law in a country like Iran?

Please replace identical with 'the same'. With no variety people are more likely to look similar. Not identical.

You're the one that said identical. Now you're saying no, not that, replace it with this word instead? 🙄
You realise it still means the same right, that you're still saying the exact same thing?!
Ok -

We will all have the same features and colouring brown hair, brown skin and brown eyes
It's no different to saying white people all look the same, look similar. No we don't!
Just like all black people don't look similar, how can you look at say Will Smith and Lenny Henry and say they look similar? They look nothing alike.
Blue eyes etc aren't going to die out just because you're seeing more people who aren't white around, that's beyond ridiculous thinking.

People can be worried about both. America looks awful for women's rights at the moment too.

Pineneedlesincarpet · 14/02/2026 17:57

Not at all what I said. I'm responding to the claim made that Christian countries don't make laws that are against women's rights. And saying that when they do those laws are based on a religious belief. Amazingly, it's quite possible to think that Sharia law is a bad thing, and also think that misogynistic laws based on Christian beliefs are also bad.

marcyhermit · 14/02/2026 18:15

Stepintotheunknown · 14/02/2026 15:38

Many comments seem to think having light skin and corresponding features is a bad thing and can be eliminated.

Yet India a predominantly non white country has a caste system that favours lighter skin ?

Pale skin is literally just an adaptation to living in northern climates with short summers and limited sunshine.
We can just take a vitamin D supplement now so it's not particularly useful any more.
Light skin is morally neutral, it's not good or bad.

dannyufcfan · 14/02/2026 18:25

I doubt it's true. Even if it is, as a white person, I couldn't give a toss.

I actually don't - I might not have been here then but I'd be curious to hear what the clashes were. I do know some local stories

MaturingCheeseball · 14/02/2026 18:41

It’s a bit of a non-point going on about sex tourists in Thailand. Obviously it’s gruesome, but it’s hardly every other white bloke. And it’s a personal aberration as opposed to a cultural norm in society.

I can only think of the anti abortion law (which I oppose as I am pro choice). And I think thats only in certain US states? So yes. That law is bad. What other ones? Also I was mainly thinking of European countries as thats where more immigration in the UK would be from.

RingoJuice · 14/02/2026 18:57

It’s actually hilarious that people on this thread pretend to not know what an English person is. Well, it is distinct enough from other white people (Scottish and Irish people go on endlessly about this tbh).

When you become a minority in your own country (whenever that happens), people will definitely know who you English are. And they’ll no longer care about the things your ancestors did or did not do, except as a cudgel to beat you with.

Grim.

I can. For a while now it's been evident that people at MN - and by extension MN themselves - are racist.

Thestarsmayalign · 14/02/2026 19:15

I have absolutely no issue in cultures that support British values of inclusion and fairness and that also support womens rights( in law , despite patriarchy and what some white men do ) .
My concern is , that due to the numbers of the population growing ,in some sections of society , that the values and laws I would like upheld will be diluted by the vastly different ways of seeing the world . For example the showing of skin or wearing of perfume being seen as ‘ wrong’ .

Or to put it another way- British law v growing numbers of sharia law being exercised.I do not regard that aspect and the way women are treated as an acceptable thing ,and is certainly not tolerant.
My dh worked with the community that still does fgm and has witnessed first hand the sheer trauma this involved for example. ( and had death threats as a result) . There is a clinic in Doncaster that has to be set up for mutilated traumatised children who have had their genitals mutilated …I consider this barbaric and I do not what things like this to become more and more the norm?

How can we run alongside / accept a culture that treats them so ? how can it be seen as good to so ? If more people live here and have a culture that is so vastly different how can that not affect our norma our daily life and our political landscape given that the public vote for politicians and policy?
—and yes there are horrible white men - but I do fear sections of a culture that in its extreme s can perpetuate the below . From another poster..
‘There's not many white British men and their family members and friends murdering wives, sisters or daughters who dared to 'dishonour' their husbands or families by wanting to escape abuse or have a relationship their families don't approve of.
There aren't a lot of white grooming gangs using religion or culture to facilitate the rape of white children by telling them they had to marry a good girl from their religion or culture but you're really my girlfriend and the one I love but you can't tell anyone or my family and community will shun me.
Or telling white British girls that in their religion or culture, it's usual that your girlfriend has sex with other male family members or friends and if they don't, their 'boyfriend' will be shamed in the community, or even beaten up.
Forcing white British girls to have abortions because a mixed-heritage DC would confirm that a sexual relationship had taken place.
Murdering White British girls who 'dishonoured' the rapist by having sex with another man.
JFC it's like Rotherham, Rochdale, Bradford and so on didn't even happen when so many people are claiming 'men abuse, Epstein ‘
