I read this ( not daily mail!) on MN -is this actually a true / statistical prediction?
I can send the link to the thread that stated this .
I have never heard this before . I assume that this is not accurate at all .( also assume applying to uk) .

I think it will initially be no UC and no housing benefit.

That is already the case at the moment.

ETA that I mean it is already the case for immigrants who haven't paid into the system.

You've just proved my point, if everyone is the same regardless of skin colour then why are some people on this thread saying it would be better if Britain had less whites unless they believe that whiteness is bad in some way 🤔

No one's saying it's better, they're saying it's irrelevant.
Skin tone is a neutral thing, it's not good or bad.

Probably If they have paid in for 10 years they will qualify. So yes tax payers receive the benefit.

Will their years of contribution be retrospective?

It's also a bit rich to do this - when someone comes in as an adult immigrant, having had all their healthcare and education paid for by their native country rather than the UK, they start at a position of 0 and start paying tax immediately, so their starting position, especially now that they have to pay the NHS surcharge, is of being a contributor.

The ultimate effect of this is that high quality workers will go to countries which do not have this daft policy, which will be the UK's loss. These rabid nationalist parties are just not very bright, but then they have a demographic to appeal to.

Jeffrey Epstein, Steve Bannon and their billionaire associates wrote about sewing division because whilst we little people are fighting, they make profit and increase power.

Elon Musk and Peter Theil are funding online campaigns to push the Great Replacement theory which originated in America where many people are weirdly fixated on race to a psychotic degree.

Ask yourself who is funding Rupert Lowe, Tommy Robinson et al, and why there are suddenly lots of strange race themed threads over the last few days?

She didn’t see my request (posted twice) either.

My notifications here are dodgy and don't always take me to the comment which can be hard to find in busy threads and also, I do put my phone down sometimes and do other things. Traditions beings abandoned - well since many are religious as this has underpinned our culture for hundreds of years many events in the church calender have fallen by the wayside. Secularisation has done this because capitalism is our new God. Christmas increasingly becomes a time people prefer not to spend together now, they would rather enjoy their break on their own terms doing their own things. It has nothing to do with Christ it's just a winter bank holiday and shopping frenzy. Advent calenders evolved very quickly over the course of my life from classic nativity scenes with religious symbols in the windows to now just garish vague "festival" graphic versions of whatever branding the corporation uses. The Christmas tree in the town has objectively shrunk, and Christmas decorations feature penguins and snowflakes and red ribbons and anything that doesn't hint at the meaning of the thing.

The racists care, clearly. Nobody else.

So if someone killed 1000 people of mixed ethnic heritage it's no worse to kill 1000 people of a particular ethnic heritage?

Obviously I'm a strong advocate against killing

OK. So your real problem is that people have stopped believing in Christianity?

How exactly does that relate to the topic of this thread? Are you suggesting that white British people like me have rejected Christianity because there are more black and brown people around me?

I don't understand the logic.

Pinkfluffypencilcase · 15/02/2026 16:19

Can anyone explain the great replacement theory to me please? Is it simply one race replacing another? And this is an issue in America?

Just because some people don't get together at Christmas anymore, it doesn't mean we've lost the tradition - Christmas is still going strong, we can still celebrate it, get together, wish each other a Merry Christmas.....
A lot still go to church too, and believe in it being a Christian celebration (I love local Christmas carol services, and there's still plenty of Christmas services around.
We've a nice tree and lights too
We haven't "lost" Christmas just because not everyone celebrates it.
It's still Christmas, it's still celebrated.

No, there are all sorts of issues coming out of this thread and they are are inter related in different ways, I was being accused of not answering a question.

Ihatethistimeline · 15/02/2026 16:23

The Epstein files are revealing that there is no left vs right. It’s robber barons vs the majority who just want a decent life. They need us all to keep fighting for a smaller and smaller pie whilst they traffic our children on islands, take away our healthcare, and put spyware on our work computers so our bosses can monitor how ‘productive’ we are for them.

This great replacement thing is another attempt to ensure we continue to be distracted whilst our living standards reduce and they take everything. Lowe, Robinson, Hopkins, Tate are the paid foot soldiers of the Epstein class to keep us from them.

People have said its a good thing.
And really, should people not be worried about an ethnicity that's already a tiny minority on the planet being decreased even further? What other ethnicity would it be socially acceptable to say that about? If you have difficulty answering that question have a think about why that is.

Out of interest, who has said that it's a good thing?

I'm like the pp, I don't regard it as good or bad.

MrsBennetsPoorNervesAreBack · 15/02/2026 16:23

So what are the issues which are actually relevant to this thread?

From what I can gather, it was in relation to the question "what traditions have we lost?"
Looks like the only tradition we've lost is Christmas. Because not everyone celebrates it or gets together anymore, that means we've lost it.
Which is a load of bollocks, I and everyone else I know still celebrate Christmas, and a lot still go to Christmas church services.
So I'm still none the wiser as to what traditions we've actually lost, as Christmas hasn't actually gone anywhere. Unless you want it to have and don't bother with it. Which is up to the individual, if you don't celebrate it, fair enough, don't then.
If your town's Christmas tree has shrunk and is a bit smaller doesn't mean Christmas has disappeared either - there's clearly a Christmas tree in the market Square or wherever, should we all be getting tape measures out to see how big they are nowadays and how they compared to last year's/1989's tree?!

Nobody is saying that whiteness is bad. People are saying that skin colour is not a proxy for good character. As I said before on this thread - if aliens landed and changed our genetics so that we were all an identical shade of green, that would change nothing about our culture, our beliefs, our morals and our behaviour.

Obsessing about skin colour is deeply suspect.

Poetnojo · 15/02/2026 16:32

I'm not trawling back through 20 odd pages but people have said it would be positive and they would be happy to see less and less white people in Britain.
And you really don't think it's bad to have what is already a small minority of the human population decrease even further? That wouldn't possibly be a bad thing?

Pinkfluffypencilcase · 15/02/2026 16:33

I never said it was a proxy for good behaviour, I just believe that white people deserve to grow and thrive especially in the likes of Britain and anyone who thinks otherwise is clearly racist.

If you think that ethnicity is solely about skin colour, you really need to read up on some cultural anthropology. 🙄
