To think that a grown man should not pee behind a tree in the playpark?

DD and I were at the Park last week.

To set the scene: One man and 2 young DC were there as well. He was on his mobile and reading paperwork of some sort - I assumed for work judging by his phone convos. His DC were lovely and chatted to me and DD, let her go on things before them etc "as she is littler".

We were there about 15 minutes and DD was on the swings I happened to look around and the Dad had disappeared. So I looked around some more, there he was peeing up against a tree Back to us but OMG - in the Playpark.
We left then. Am I being a bit precious - I find this totally unacceptable.

ewwww.

peggotty · 15/06/2008 20:21

Possibly not the best decision he might have made - but assume that there was no toilet nearby and he didn't want to drag his dc home/away from playpark. If toilet nearby, then ewwwww!

callmeovercautious · 15/06/2008 20:22

Yes toilet nearby - at his house, I recognise him so know roughly where he lives.

Jeez it's only pee. I don't think there's anything wrong with it. If you gotta go, you gotta go.

Would it be any worse/better if it was one of the children?

sparklysparkles · 15/06/2008 20:38

Well, women manage to hold on, however many dcs in tow. I think it's gross.

Carmenere · 15/06/2008 20:38

A bit precious yes

Men can't hold it as long as women and also it is compusory for men to show off the fact they can wee anywhere they like whilst standing up while us ladies have to find a buah or clench like mad!

cktwo · 15/06/2008 20:44

Bush not buah

I wouldn't like the thought of little kids rooting around in his pissy grass. He shouldn't have peed in the actual park.

louii · 15/06/2008 21:03

Sure dogs and other wildlife may piss on the grass, it wasnt like he whipped his willy out and was seeing how high up the tree he could pee.

He might have had a UTI.

Dont think you can compare it to breastfeeding though as it def wasn't piss that came out my boobs.

pointydog · 15/06/2008 21:05

I'd expect dogs to be kept out of a childrne;s playpark too. Squirrels' wee and mice wee doesn't bother me.

pointydog · 15/06/2008 21:06

They must do tiny wees, and sometimes up trees and in burrows. Cannot compare to Man Wee.

callmeovercautious · 15/06/2008 21:06

Ahh - cod - I must have passed you by as an extended BFer. Perhaps I should have whapped my norks out in revenge?

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 15/06/2008 21:06

cod don't be silly, people don't breastfeed in toilets, but they do wee in them

it's not a great thing to do but don't see what children being around has to do with it
and tbh your park must be a bit more posh than ours if this is the first time anyone weed in a bush

callmeovercautious · 15/06/2008 21:09

Yes pointy - Man wee does not compare to wild animals. Or DC. In fact a few weeks ago a friend DS wet himself at the top of the slide, she was mortified but every other Mum just laughed (and stopped their DC from going on it), then it started raining! She wanted to put a note on it to warn people

But if a woman - a Mum - dropped her knickers and squatted under a tree the bloomin police would be called!!!

pointydog · 15/06/2008 21:09

Men do extended weeing. The volume might be a problem. Weeing for more than one minute is weird.

callmeovercautious · 15/06/2008 21:12

Oh yes we are v posh Only gold plated used condoms in ours.

I am not naive, I know allsorts goes on in parks. But if you knew your DH had taken a pee in front of a lone Woman and children what would you honestly think?

OP posts:
eenybeeny · 15/06/2008 21:14

My DH wouldnt do it. He's too modest

Fluffybitoffun · 15/06/2008 21:14

I don't think the fact that it was a kids park or that you were there that makes it bad. It's just so pathetic that he can't actually control his bladder and has to whop his old man out in public.

What a fucking freak.
