This is a good point actually. Someone needs to start a thread on this subject.
My Mum often speaks of the local 'flasher' when she was young. She said her and her friends used to follow him about pulling faces and laughing at him then they'd scream and run off when he got his willy out, then repeat the process. She said she wasn't afraid of him at all, just thought he was a silly man who got his willy out.
Of course this tale shocked me who is 37 years younger.
I will add wedding-related posts anyway because I am part of the derailing now.
I went to one wedding where the bride told me she was only marrying to give her daughter security, they didn't love each other and she knew their relationship would be over soon.
I was also invited to a wedding recently as a plus one to my partner. We had discussed 'us being next' although that was fast, we'd been together less than a year. Lovely wedding itself, but relatives including several alcoholics (or at least problem drinkers) were helping themselves to booze from a car boot from the moment the reception opened. I was sitting on the loo and a woman fell off the loo seat in the next cubicle and crashed half into mine having broken the partition wall which then sort of pinged back and I heard a huge groan/scream/thud as she fell onto the floor, knickers still around ankles.
Bride's Dad propositioned me all night.
And following the wedding I was dumped. Turns out partner had only wanted me because of not having a 'plus one' for the wedding, and wanting to 'look good' in front of family.
Another wedding, I cried all the way through the reception and had a stony-face all through the wedding procession because the basket of flowers I had to carry was too heavy for me.
I was seven, but still...
