AIBU to be bothered by the way female presenters dress?

I was just watching Good Morning Britain and it seems ridiculous that the male presenters stick to their male uniform whereas the females, particularly Susanna and Kate wear very tight, colourful dresses that really emphasise their body shapes. The contrast is stark, I don’t understand it and it’s certainly distracting!

Sounds like a you problem. Why do you have a problem, or any negative reaction at all, when you see the way other women dress? It sounds you have issues you need to work on.

All the posters that cannot see OP's point and can't see a problem, seem really disingenuous to me. What is the reason for refusing to engage with the thought?

Is it because you have invested too much already? Judged favourably in the current system? Accepted women who are better looking and spend more time and money on appearance should be above you?

I'm not sure how you could have grown into an adult woman in the UK, been through school and workplaces and not see it.

If I had any office/school skirts in my house, I would lead the burning of them. Maybe part of the reason that girls hoik up their school skirts so much is that you can't bloody walk in them, never mind run. There is nothing remotely empowering about tight skirts.

Tho awful female presenters only flaunt their bodies to annoy women viewers. 😁😁😁

Of course women generally should be able to choose what they wear and we shouldn't shame them for their choice of clothes. But I strongly suspect that there's a set of spoken or unspoken guidelines for TV presenters. Men's clothing will be understated, blend-into-the-background clothes. While women's will be rather more flamboyant and revealing. As such, it's not really about female choice. It's about a boss dictating how they want us to appear.
