I think he has finally lost any marbles he had in his tiny little brain!

USA contributes almost 29% to the world GDP at 30 trillion. To put that into perspective, Germany is third with 5 trillion.

Say what you want about Trump but the economy has continued to dramatically improve under him. USA is the powerhouse of the world and we need them a lot more then they need us.

That's due to size. An equivalent comparison, Europe, has a bigger GDP. And?

Just because of power it shouldn't mean others cower to this white settler state.

No we don't. The rest of the world will get on fine without Trumps usa

interesting reply from Trump regarding MC’s speech. Kind of threatening?

The page requires that I re-enter my password? I've never encountered that before... Nope.

Me too. I'll try and find it another way

Surely his health will fail soon?

Don't you mean "hopefully" rather than "surely"?

Cognitively he appears to be very challenged, but that might be just the manifestation of his ego/narcissism. Physically he looks pretty robust to me for a nearly 80 yr old. There's no proof that I've seen of any major physical issues. Yes I know he has bruises, but so have I from aspirin. He can walk, and by heck can he talk, not making much sense mind, but he has the energy to drone on for over an hour non stop.

Not buying his imminent demise, unless it's by assassination.

It was mentioned above by the poster, search for "I fucking love Australia"

What’s quite insane is I asked a room with 30 young teens yesterday if they knew our prime minister’s name. Only one did! They all knew the president of the USA!

I have to say, I don't think that is consistently true, I have teens and the youngest knows who the Green party Leader is because of their presence on Tik Tok.

Their debt levels are a huge worry though - and everyone thinks the US stock market is in a bubble - actual real world econcomic indicators have been poor for a while and food inflation been high.

TBF I agree US economy has out performed many dire predictions so far how long it can do so remains to be seen.

The worlds slowly changing supply lines - which hate uncertainty - and they may well be long term as continuity is valued.

Things like international tourist decline is starting to hit US jobs and businesses and it starting to sink this isn't a blip and is likely to get worse.

I saw John Stewart point out difference between Hilter and Trump before they started wars - Hitler was popular and Trump isn't.

It's called 'I fucking love Australia'

I know I keep repeating this but people are missing my earlier posts clarifying the matter.

And all their friends know who the PM is.

But the reality is you won't. If you take away all the nonsense what he is saying is NATO need to step up. They need to invest in their military. I think he has a great sense of humor and gets everyone talking and hopefully will story Europe into action.

Your reality isn't mine. He has a good sense of humour? Oh dear.

The US economy isn't improving under Trump, let alone 'dramatically'. Of course tech companies and billionaires are profiting, which superficially can make it look like it's growing, but most sectors are worse off, average people are worse off, and the USA has a massive affordability problem. Financing all the wars Trump seems determined to start - and dealing with the consequences when his former allies are forced to take economic actions against the USA - won't make things any easier either.

I guess the Americans are waking up and finding this thread round about now.

Great sense of humour? OMG. He loves humour at the expense of someone else, yes. Not funny. Not clever. Nasty.

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 21/01/2026 17:19

WTF is this complete womble doing? In his efforts to make maximum $$$ for him and his billionaire mates, he has alienated the whole world against the USA. He clearly has some form of dementia. Why is no one stopping him?

He's a classic bully and thick as fuck. It's just INCREDIBLE that this utter buffoon is the leader of the USA.

A great sense of humour?

Gets everyone talking?

He's the President of the United States of America, not the guy they employed to get the audience riled up before Jeremy Kyle was recorded.

The man is - and I can't stress this enough - an absolute fucking idiot. He has always been a colossal twat. A petty, narcissistic, misogynistic bully. And now he's all that with very obvious cognitive decline on top. That's not 'nonsense'. That's fucking petrifying.

tara66 · 21/01/2026 17:23

Well, I find him very original and entertaining!!
He did call Greenland - Iceland though - but it's an easy slip and he had had a long flight!

Buddywoo · 21/01/2026 17:24

What was the reception to his speech in Davos like? I haven't been able to find anything on this. I presume he didn't get a standing ovation like Carney.

HelenHywater · 21/01/2026 17:24

I'm listing to it now. he's just said that he loves birds. (I think). And then he said Scotland in a Scottish accent.

He's fucking insane.

I really hope Europe stands up to him about Greenland.

Vaxtable · 21/01/2026 17:25

After everything he has said and done over the past few days I simply can’t bear to hear any more

hes an absolute loony tune

Foggybottomblues · 21/01/2026 17:25

@LadyMacbethssweetArabianhand- My reality is Europe and Canada are woefully unprepared to defend themselves. They need to invest in their military. Look he's got you all talking and maybe that taking will lead you to demand answers from your government as to why they haven't spent the money to upkeep their fleet and equipment thier forces.
