Mainstream media scared to talk about this 'new' trump scandal? Trigger Warning.

Tinytimmy123 · 15/01/2026 21:14

I will start by saying this could be very triggering for most, so tread warily. SA.

Secondly this account has been reported, investigated, and researched by many independent journalists, who strongly feel it is legitimate, but absolutely nothing on mainstream media.

The person is Sascha Riley (William Sascha Riley) a veteran. He has been speaking out for some time, mentioning names of high profile characters in the US government including trump and their cesspool behaviour. (An understatement). I have been horrified by his account or the parts I could bear to listen to. His story is gaining traction and more recently he has had to leave America , I believe, due to threats to his safety.

Trump appears to have such a strangle hold on foreign and domestic news organisations that they're scared to report on this even though it has been 'out there' for some time.

What is it being said?

Tinytimmy123 · 15/01/2026 21:19

I don't particularly want to be explicit as it will likely shut the thread down. It is horrific and a simple Google search will provide a synopsis. Let's just say SA is involved.

Asimple Google search brings up referencing to a trump/Epstein network. But there isn't one. What there is is a very old video of trump saying yes I've met Eastern, nice chap, likes his girls too young so he's not welcome at my clubs. (Or something to that degree).

Tinytimmy123 · 15/01/2026 21:37

I'm not familiar with Substack but his in̈terviews appeared there in full first i believe. Also youtube search 'Sascha Riley' and there is a plethora of commentators and accounts.

ICant you just provide a link so we know what you’re talking about? Or explain - I’m sure it won’t get the thread shut down, all sorts is talked about here and you’ve included a trigger warning.

HeddaGarbled · 15/01/2026 21:45

Sounds like another bonkers conspiracy theory to me. Social media is awash with them. The New York Times, to name just one main-stream media outlet, reports plenty about allegations about Trump but not without investigating and corroborating.

You never know, occasionally an unlikely sounding story does turn out to be true, but most of them don’t.

Shff · 15/01/2026 21:48

Real journalists do a lot of vetting. There is a lot of mainstream news about Epstein and trump links, it’s not exactly being hidden, but this has a lot of hallmarks of a hoax.

Pollqueen · 15/01/2026 21:51

Hasn't this been done to death? It's just more batshit conspiracy crap with no concrete evidence at all. Try harder

username734 · 15/01/2026 21:52

After spending year's thinking Trump incited the Capitol riots due to tje BBC/Guardian, I think twice and want proof. Meanwhile, the mayor of Minneapolis...

Have you listened to it?

Do you have a link (to a reputable source?)

a decent chunk of it, it’s nonsense

I have provided a link. Given the topic and the fact that it is so incendiary I am not surprised about the scepticism and the need for proof....but I am also very aware about the politics and organised push back that are activated for topics like this. If trump is prepared to start a war to deflect from epstein then this definitely isn't beyond the realms of possibility.

You provided a link to a video that’s an hour and a half long, on a channel I’ve never heard of that only has 7,000 subscribers. You want us to watch all of that without giving us a summary first?

Come on.

Shff · 15/01/2026 22:07

Tinytimmy123 · 15/01/2026 22:05

What parts particularly?

Parts of part one and part two. There is a reason this isn’t being covered in the media and it’s not because of a conspiracy. this is a hoax or a mentally ill person or an attention seeker or a mix of all three.

Alltheyellowbirds · 15/01/2026 22:08

You say it’s been investigate and researched by many journalists - can you link to one of their articles?

AnneLovesGilbert · 15/01/2026 22:13

A bit agog at you suggesting the BBC is scared of reporting negatively on Trump. They’re currently being sued for lying about what he said. And that wasn’t the only time they did it. They give no shits.

ALoonIsNotAGuillemot · 15/01/2026 22:16

I'm asking anti-Trump as they come - I think he's a weak, petty, depraved, control freak with a completely deluded superiority complex. But even to me this seems like a largely fabricated conspiracy theory.

Pallisers · 15/01/2026 22:18

Trump said "you can grab them by the pussy" and was STILL elected - twice. Why on earth would you think this big expose would make any difference to anything - even if true.

Love the poster who was wrongly "convinced" by the BBC that Trump incited the insurrection on January 6th. Join the legions of people who were convinced by the american networks that man landed on the moon - mad stuff isn't it. It is really great that now we can all do our own research.

TY78910 · 15/01/2026 22:19

I’m really failing to find anything that supports this part of your OP:

“Secondly this account has been reported, investigated, and researched by many independent journalists, who strongly feel it is legitimate, but absolutely nothing on mainstream media.“

I couldn’t listen to the whole bloody video you linked, but googled and all I’ve seen was a bunch of Facebook posts, a Reddit thread and one of those ‘news’ outlets that make you scroll past 20 ‘I lost 20lb in one day using this simple hack’ scam adverts.

So - who was this investigated and researched by?

NotMeAtAll · 15/01/2026 22:21

It's a refreshing change. The conspiracy loons are normally pro-Trump.

LadyBlakeneysHanky · 15/01/2026 22:23

I listened to a few minutes (only) and just in that time that interview seemed completely unreliable.

It’s partly the drawn out way it’s conducted (very unprofessional), plus the interviewer suddenly announces that she thinks this might be a case for the International Criminal Court. That shows such a woeful misunderstanding of the ICC that it is enough in itself to make me conclude this source is utterly unreliable. It is no wonder this ‘story’ has not spread.
