Mainstream media scared to talk about this 'new' trump scandal? Trigger Warning.

I will start by saying this could be very triggering for most, so tread warily. SA.

Secondly this account has been reported, investigated, and researched by many independent journalists, who strongly feel it is legitimate, but absolutely nothing on mainstream media.

The person is Sascha Riley (William Sascha Riley) a veteran. He has been speaking out for some time, mentioning names of high profile characters in the US government including trump and their cesspool behaviour. (An understatement). I have been horrified by his account or the parts I could bear to listen to. His story is gaining traction and more recently he has had to leave America , I believe, due to threats to his safety.

Trump appears to have such a strangle hold on foreign and domestic news organisations that they're scared to report on this even though it has been 'out there' for some time.

I am fascinated that there are so many wholehearted sceptics about the veracity of this story and who are SO sure this isn't true. Yet we have millions of pages about SA in the epstein files which to date have been so heavily redacted of trumps name. They have also not been released despite court orders. It is widely felt that much of his recent actions are deflection tactics from the epstein files. He was his best friend for many years. Epstein even called him the worst of the worst...imagine Epstein calling YOU the worst.

We have had Virginia Guiffre, Ghislaine Maxwell and the many other victims still waiting for justice. I wonder how many people were sceptical about her at the beginning and look where we are now.

I hate Trump and I don't doubt for a second that he is guilty of some heinous crimes. But the stuff in this link seems unbelievably far fetched and there is not a shred of evidence to support it. The language used by the 'journalist' who authored the Substack is very vague and at times seems almost delusional.

Conspiracies like this crop up occasionally (Carl Beech, Pizzagate, the Satanic Abuse Scandal in the US) and it always emerges that they have been dreamt up by fantasists and mentally unwell people. Let's not get distracted from Trump's real criminal behaviour by going down this bizarre and almost certainly false rabbit hole.

It almost makes you wonder why he hasn't sued him? Trump is normally so trigger happy with these things.

We are now inhabiting a world that has grok child abuse being permitted, why is this so far fetched? Someone had abuse these people.

Some googling later I see that Sasha Riley has recently released a series of video recordings about alleged abuse by Epstein, during which he names a number of key figures including Trump. I guess the video you shared is one of those tapes.

Firstly, the names that he is mentioning don't correspond to names mentioned in Epstein files. Unlike Virginia Guifre, whose testimony matches up with people and locations mentioned in flight logs. Secondly, the story is completely salacious. He kicked a tent pole up Trump's what now? Is that even physically possible? Thirdly, its pizza gate level of crazy, and its overkill. No one needs to have died to make the Epstein thing worse, it was already as bad as it gets.

How do you know all the names mentioned in the epstein files? ...1% of the files have been released and even with those a considerable proportion were so heavily redacted they were just black pages.

No wonder women don't want to report rape, never mind men.

As far as I'm aware pizzagate was about pdfilia ...mostly directed at Democratsand hollywood....(happy to be corrected)...yet here we are neck deep in what appears to an entire worldwide ring of freaks with no specific left or right leaning because the wealthy and the political seem to be tainted regardless of their political persuasion.

Let me help save everyone a lot of time.

• If you love Trump you won’t believe a word of this despite watching the alleged events unfold with your own eyes.
• If you’re normal and sane you’ll wait to see if any substantiated evidence emerges.

Yet we have lengthy mumsnet debates and comments about Meghan and Harry based on a daily mail headline, that bastion of journalistic truth.

By being all covert and mysterious about it you just make yourself look like a conspiracy theorist, and people less likely to engage in the discussion you wish to have. Not to mention not everyone wants to have go off and do their own research before joining in a chat on Mumsnet.

Like other PPs I'll wait to see if mainstream media reports on it, having conducted their own verification and research. In the meantime, do you really believe he kicked a tent pole up Trump's hole-in-one? Does that not strike you as a bit silly?

I never suggested you did. I was explaining why I hadn't added anything too explicit. You did ask.

No-one was asking you to write anything explicit. It just would have been helpful if your thread title and first post actually outlined what you wanted to discuss instead of being all dramatic and incomprehensible, and then when asked for clarification telling us to google. Or if when you shared the video you had said “ this is a video of…” instead of expecting us to watch a full hour and a half of god knows what to work it out.

I should have been clearer. The name Riley does not appear in any of the documents published as yet, and as he said his father was named Riley and was a pilot for Epstein, you'd expect that name to come up. I'm guessing any publications checking this out will be looking for this.

Look at all the negative press about Trump. The mainstream media has had nothing positive to say about him, ever, but particularly in recent weeks. He is openly being called a fascist sex offender. So why do you think they are scared to report something they believe to be true? If it was true, wouldn't they report it. Most countries would be delighted to finally have some that might bring him down. What you're saying just isn't logical

This story is coming from someone who was a child and who was sa'd repeatedly I wouldn't be surprised in any way that the entire picture isn't clear or simple.

I was abused as a child. I can't recall my entire experience. I don't know if it all happened the way I thought because it was just me and the abuser, I remember bits and pieces of it rather than a movie version. Nothing was done about it and so I only have that one other 'witness'.

In all honesty I don't know if this is all true. But then, would we have believed it of the Rolf Harris' s, Weinsteins, etc 10 or 15 years before it all came out.

From where I'm sitting trump is an evil sadistic narcissistic abuser, plenty of women have accused him of various levels of abuse. He has overseen threats to women he has abused , overseen threats to government officials ...an open secret .....I think he is capable of anything.If someone is capable of starting a war in or out of his own country to cover up the epstein files it has to be bad.

To date I haven't heard a mans report about their experience of abuse associated with epstein, yet it was apparently happening. So why stick your head above that parapet? Yes he could be crazy, yes the interviewer could be doing it for nefarious reasons but bear in mind Virginia Guiffre's story took a long time to hold credence and bear fruit of Andy getting stripped of all he holds dear.

I'm not asking anyone to wholeheartedly believe it all, but I think given the extensive list of crimes and misdemeanours , of the trump character involved, this man at least deserves to be heard. If it were a woman we would rightly let her have a voice.

Of course as with everything everyone has a choice to listen , to believe..... or not.

I haven’t looked at it but if there was any truth to it, the media would be all over it. In general, they hate Trump and would do anything to print/broadcast terrible news…but the lawyers won’t them go near it unless it’s got credibility.

I've listened to the interview. You can't tell whether it's the truth or not. People certainly can't catagorically dismiss it. At this point in time, nothing would surprise me about trump and others like him. I guess we'll just have to wait until other information emerges. The latest crop of released photographs from epstein's island mansion show evidence of much younger victims than we've been led to believe.

Considering Trump is basically on the verge of starting WWIII to avoid it ever actually coming out I damn well think what's in those files is very possibly as bad (or worse) as what has been alleged.

Can't stand Trump and consider him to be extremely dangerous, but this is all far too vague and cryptic for me.

If you are wanting to make claims about Trump, then please be specific about what the allegations are, and link to some solid evidence or a credible source.

There is plenty of actual evidence already in the public domain which shows us all why we need to be very scared of Trump. It's far better for people to focus on that existing evidence rather than these half-baked conspiracy theories. They're just a distraction.

Julie K Brown, who is the Miami journalist who essentially broke the entire Epstein story and is almost singlehandedly responsible for not letting it go away completely after the sweetheart deal he was given, has a substack post on this. She has spent untold hours with the Epstein survivors, listening to their stories, some on the record, some off.

She does believe something terrible happened to him, and she's not saying it's not true, but says she's seen no corroboration or verification as of now, so I'm taking it that she's skeptical.

No one despises the orange monster more than me, but I'd go slowly with this one.

Hè has threatened to shut down entire media outlets. He is suing the BBC for billions, sought the cancellation of journalists and comedians ( Kimmel and Colbert). CBS is under a recent change of ownership to more 'sympathetic ' hands has already changed their programming and hosts to accommodate his message. Look at the hosts removed because he doesn't like them or for retribution, Jim Acosta and Joy Reid. This is what you get if you report anything anti trump.
