Mainstream media scared to talk about this 'new' trump scandal? Trigger Warning.

I will start by saying this could be very triggering for most, so tread warily. SA.

Secondly this account has been reported, investigated, and researched by many independent journalists, who strongly feel it is legitimate, but absolutely nothing on mainstream media.

The person is Sascha Riley (William Sascha Riley) a veteran. He has been speaking out for some time, mentioning names of high profile characters in the US government including trump and their cesspool behaviour. (An understatement). I have been horrified by his account or the parts I could bear to listen to. His story is gaining traction and more recently he has had to leave America , I believe, due to threats to his safety.

Trump appears to have such a strangle hold on foreign and domestic news organisations that they're scared to report on this even though it has been 'out there' for some time.

Hè has threatened to shut down entire media outlets. He is suing the BBC for billions, sought the cancellation of journalists and comedians ( Kimmel and Colbert). CBS is under a recent change of ownership to more 'sympathetic ' hands has already changed their programming and hosts to accommodate his message. Look at the hosts removed because he doesn't like them or for retribution, Jim Acosta and Joy Reid. This is what you get if you report anything anti trump.

All of this is undeniably true, and yet there is still plenty of extremely critical coverage of him daily in mainstream media, Kimmel is still on the air. If any of them could verify this account, you can be sure, they wouldn't hold back.

Adding, that again, if Julie K Brown is skeptical, that's a warning bell for me.

Yet we have lengthy mumsnet debates and comments about Meghan and Harry based on a daily mail headline, that bastion of journalistic truth.

At least it's a news outlet, with journalists. I've just scrolled through three pages of Google results and they are ALL social media posts repeating each other apart from the Hindustan Times, which faithfully reports every bit of online scandal with a tiny disclaimer underneath.

When the Virginia Guiffre scandal broke, actual real journalists put time and effort into investigating her and her claims. By way of a benchmark, they didn't do this over Pizzagate, except to explain about QAnon and how the frenzy spread.

There really are creepy sex abuse rings, for sure. It's true that victims' claims have historically been dismissed. However, journalists wouldn't ignore this story - it could be career-making. Reasonable to suppose they are looking into and have found nothing.

Can't stand Trump and consider him to be extremely dangerous, but this is all far too vague and cryptic for me.

If you are wanting to make claims about Trump, then please be specific about what the allegations are, and link to some solid evidence or a credible source.

There is plenty of actual evidence already in the public domain which shows us all why we need to be very scared of Trump. It's far better for people to focus on that existing evidence rather than these half-baked conspiracy theories. They're just a distraction.

I disagree. Why?... because it is only by making people aware of it that it stays in the public domain so it will be investigated thoroughly, and if true there is the slim possibility he will be held to account. If it's all bs then so be it.

As is currently happening, trump is trying to create a big enough shit show that the files become old boring news and they lose their relevance all the more reason it stays in the public domain.

Every horror story has to start somewhere. I'm sure many of us have experienced not being believed. You're made out to be the liar and the burden of proof falls to you. I couldn't if I tried prove what happened to me all these years later.

Might be true, might not. Too soon to tell.

I am absolutely sure Trump had some involvement with Epstein. Firstly because he’s done everything he can to delay/obstruct/distract from the release of the files, secondly because he was very likely to have been part of that social circle at the time, and thirdly because so much evidence suggests he’s a a perv and a predator by nature.

If these allegations have a shred of truth to then a credible media source will eventually publish the story - the Guardian or Channel Four would be all over it. Yes Trump loves to sue and threaten and has a history of shutting the media down in the US, but that wouldn’t stop the rest of the world. They would just be very careful to fact check everything first.

If it turns out not to be true then it’s just a distraction from his very many real crimes and I hope people will let it go.

DeepBlueDeer · 16/01/2026 01:06

Even as someone strongly inclined to believe Katie Johnson's allegations against Trump, these allegations to not strike me as believable.

I wouldn't even be entirely surprised if they are a hoax that are intended to undermine the credibility of other accusations.

Beekman · 16/01/2026 01:20

It’s all over social media in the US. Perhaps that’s just my algorithm but I doubt it as I don’t post or engage with anything political. Obviously mainstream news outlets are aware of all this but are treading very carefully.

I have no idea if it’s true or not but I can’t help thinking about the Carl Beech allegations and how convincing he was.

After spending year's thinking Trump incited the Capitol riots due to tje BBC/Guardian, I think twice and want proof. Meanwhile, the mayor of Minneapolis...

See I thought that because of the hastily shut down impeachment.

He did incite the Capitol riots - hope that helps.

I've listened to most of part one of the interview now. There is so much in there that is incredulous:

  • Naming major Republican politicians, none of whom have come up in the Epstein documents or previous victim testimonies.
  • These parties full of Republican politicians all being excited about a guy called Vladimir Putin. In the 1980s. When Putin was a KGB operative working in Germany and not a main political player yet.
  • All three girls he said he was forced to film with are dead, two of them murdered at these parties. There has never been any insinuation that murders took place at Epstein parties before.
  • Trump wanting to have sex with a boy. Offenders have patterns. Trump's pattern is known to be women and girls. Why would this pattern change?
-Trump desperate to 'kill' something and so kills a litter of puppies. This sounds like it was written by a high schooler who has just found out about psychopaths.

And this is just part one of the interview.

I have provided a link. Given the topic and the fact that it is so incendiary I am not surprised about the scepticism and the need for proof....but I am also very aware about the politics and organised push back that are activated for topics like this. If trump is prepared to start a war to deflect from epstein then this definitely isn't beyond the realms of possibility.

To a You Tube video of a conspiracy theorist.

Yeah, nah - tin foil is not my colour.

Lifeislikeaboxofdairymilk · 17/02/2026 00:18

This has started coming up in my feed for some reason this wesk. I have not listened/watched it as one persons video came up giving a little info of what he said and I sincerely pray it isn’t true. I cannot get some of the thoughts out of my head now and felt like vomitting. The world cannot be like this, it’s too much for a normal person to comprehend
